Rebellious Colours Vegan Semi Permanent Hair Dye Colour 100ml (Scarlet Red)

Loved this dye, easy to use, great colour (green) stayed in well so far after a few washes

I have naturally very dark brown hair and as you can see, the blue doesn't really change the dark colour at all. But I bleached sections and the blue has come through nice and bright. I've done this a copy of times now. The colour fades fairly quickly, I would say I like to refresh after 5-6 washes not the 10 on the bottle.The bottle is small and I use an entire one on just my front and a little under the sides. I do have thick hair but as you can see, it's not long!

The bottles are really tough to squeeze and the dye is really thick (not sure if all the colours are thick like this) it doesn’t run out nicely at all so you have to squeeze as hard as you can to get all of it out. I hurt my hands doing it and had to ask my boyfriend to help, he also struggled! Really needs to be a tub like manic or squeezy tubes like colorista wash out.The dye is good but the bottle is making me question if I should get it again which is a shame.Anyways onto the dye itself:I used on naturally grey hair, no bleach or colour. Came out a nice lilac which I was happy with. To get this result I used 2 bottles on freshly washed unconditioned hair. I absolutely saturated my hair, then wrapped in cling film and left for about an hour. My hair is naturally pretty porous, you may get different results dependant on your hair porosity.

I've tried three colours so far-Blue Lagoon, Electric Blue, and Purple Fury-but cannot review them separately, so scroll down for individual reviews. Each was on unbleached hair.You get a tube with a screw off lid inside a cardboard box. This brand is vegan and it's fine to leave in your hair for as long as you want or can forget about it. It depends on the colour how well it will come out, how much you'll need, etc-generally the darker and deeper colours like purple work better and can be cut with conditioner a bit to increase the amount you have or top up when washing.I found this brand is very easy to remove the colour if you're fed up with it or whatever-hot water and keep shampooing. You'll need to do it a few times, but it will come out. On the other side, washing in cold water kept most of the colour in, and it didn't rub off anywhere. It's also easy to remove stains from the bathtub or sink, or skin.The tube is quite a nice size-I only did the ends of my hair so can't say for sure, but it should be enough to cover a whole head of head that came to shoulder length, maybe more. It's really good value, perfect for experimenting with.(BLUE LAGOON) - I tried this on unbleached hair, which is a light brown/dark blonde type colour.Blue lagoon is a kind of turquoise colour, a blue that's more on the green side of things. It will probably come out fine on bleached/light blonde hair. On mine, it did colour it, but as it's a green tinted colour on top of a blonde (yellow), it comes out a sort of sea green. It's not a bad colour, but it's definitely not the one it's meant to be, and it will become greener the more it fades.(ELECTRIC BLUE)After the failed Blue Lagoon I went for the richer, darker Electric Blue in the hopes it would be blue and not green-again, on unbleached hair. This time it did come out blue, and (obviously) the blonder the parts of my hair were, the better it worked. The browner sections didn't work out so well, and overall it was darker and more dull than it would be on bleached/light blonde hair. It looks like it would work really well though!(PURPLE FURY)This one was amazing! I left it on for over an hour, hoping to make it more vivid. It came out really well on my unbleached hair. It looks quite different in different lighting-at night under the usual lights, it looks dark brown, and you can hardly tell it's there. Then in the daytime, it's a lovely vivid purple.Of course it faded a bit after the first wash, and each since, but it's still quite obvious. You can cut the dye with conditioner very easily for this colour, it's so saturated, so you can use that each wash to last longer. It's been fading to a sort of red-brown colour, like a muted chestnut, which is much nicer than a green.

Loved the colour very bright

Not easy to use as it is very thick and difficult to squeeze out. I checked in case I was meant to have watered it down it was so difficult to apply. Coverage was poor and my hair is very short, so long hair would probably need at least three bottles. Result was poor and patchy. Got caught in the rain on a walk and laughed as I thought about hair dye running - sadly when I got home and looked in the mirror the colour was running down my face. I love the colour, but on my hair please! After the first couple of days my pillow case had more colour from the dye than my hair. Oh well, you get what you pay for I guess.

I used the Purple Fury on my bleached hair and it is a fantastically vibrant colour. The first time it did fade pretty quickly (after about 2 weeks), but to be fair I do wash my hair every day and I don't use cold water which would be better for retaining colour. After the first time though I started using OGX fade-defying shampoo & conditioner, which seemed to work really well at keeping the colour for longer.The Blue Lagoon was applied when my hair was already a light green/blue colour (similar to the shade on the box but more washed out looking), but as you can see the shade on the box is not a very good representation of the colour you end up with! It's more of a teal and I actually love the colour and much prefer it to the one on the box.The bottle isn't huge but they are very reasonably priced compared to similar products, and I have really short hair so one bottle does my hair a few times (it keeps for 12 months after opening). I also had no issues with it staining either my skin or anything else. I did get some on the sink which I didn't spot til the following day, and it just washed straight off with soap & water.

We used it on uncoloured light brown hair, it's ended up a lovely rich dark purple. Only complaint is there just isn't enough in the bottle to do a whole head of fine hair so was only able to colour the ends.The colour on the lighter tips of the hair is a vivid purple so definitely worth prelightening the hair if wanting brighter results.Was easy to apply, took ages to rinse out, but left the hair feeling soft and conditioned. Wouldn't hesitate to use again.

Je suis ravie de ce produit.La teinte que j'ai obtenue est ma nuance de violet préférée !!!J'ai compliqué un peu les choses car je ne voulais pas teindre intégralement. J'ai donc méché sur du blond moyen.J'adore le résultat, hyper facile à appliquer en tube, je pense qu avec un tube j'aurais pu faire toute ma chevelure ceci dit j'ai les cheveux très fins. J'ai laissé poser 1h pour avoir un beau résultat.Reste à voir la durée dans le temps et le délavage de la teinte.

L'envoi était rapide, mais la couleur ne paraît pas sur les cheveux foncés.

Ho fatto questo shampoo colorante senza decolorare i capelli. Ovviamente il risultato è frutto di quello che avevo già come base di partenza, ovvero capelli castani con riflessi rossi, schiariti in varie ciocche. Il risultato lo trovo entusiasmante. I capelli sono bellissimi e morbidissimi: era da tempo che volevo sbarazzarmi delle sfumature ramate che ogni volta tornavano, così ho preso questo verde foresta incantata. Ha preso perfettamente nelle parti dove avevo i capelli schiariti e i capelli bianchi, mentre mi ha restituito alle radici il mio colore naturale. In foto non si vede, ma il colore é proprio Verdone, senza sfumature che tendono all'azzurro. Dove avevo i capelli particolarmente ramati ha smorzato l'effetto, restituendomi un castano dorato (mentre in controluce son verde chiaro). Non mi sarei mai aspettata un risultato del genere, quasi "naturale", per quanto il colore non lo sia. Unica cosa: un tubetto forse era un pò poco per la mia mole di capelli e ho fatto fatica a coprire tutta la chioma
