Round Bathroom En Suite Fixed Swivel Shower Head Hose Holder Bracket Solid Brass

Family members like to aim the shower spray in different ways so I needed a decent shower head holder with an adjustable head. I ordered one of these and it arrived today. More expensive than plastic alternatives but it's a good solid bit of kit, and nicely chromed. A small moment of puzzlement till I realised you need to unscrew the base ring to free up the mount for screwing to the wall, but after that was done, attaching to the wall and re-fitting the swivel head was an easy job (but take care, there are a couple of small loose parts in there!). It comes with 3 screws and wallplugs - a lot have only one screw which could soon loosen or pull out if you're in the habit of removing the shower head regularly. And yes, there IS a lock ring around the ball joint which can be tightened pretty well by hand so it is still adjustable but won't "droop". If you want it set solidly in one position it has two "flats" so you can use an adjustable spanner (put a rag over the jaws to avoid scratching the chrome). Nice.

A solid product that is of a simple but very effective design.Compared to other products it offers a wide range of adjustment allowing the shower head to aimed where you need it.Being of chrome plated brass it should last forever. Certainly a life time longer compared to the plastic one it was bought to replace. Some reviewers have complained the shower head holder is either to tight or too loose. It can be adjusted using a spanner on the slots machined into the head.

Very solid / good quality. Not difficult to fit. Much better then the plastic thing I had previously. The head is easy to adjust , and stiff enuf not to move when in use.

A great product.

Arrived without screws or wall plugs as stated. Started to return for refund/exchange but found some in the tool box. Sadly they're not long enough so the holder is now loose after only a few weeks. Other than that it's well made.

This product has been excellent. Great quality screws that it comes with. High quality - looks like new after several months in our shower. One small issue we have though is getting the right angle but that is mainly due to our shower head attachment. The ball and socket joint works well but to hold the shower head in the right place the fit of the shower head into the "grabber" is important. Its hard to know how this will fit until you get the product and match it to your shower head.Everything was included that we needed to finish the job! Thanks.

It's very difficult to to get the shower head in and out this product - it's a bit too tight.

I purchased a new Mira electric shower, but the shower head holder (plastic connector with Metal Bar adjustment) Mira provided meant the shower head would swivel (mind of its own) during showers and the water would not fall in the intended direction. Really annoying considering that Mira's products do not come cheap. Purchased this item - Fitting was easy (25 mins). Now shower works like a dream. Shower head stays fixed with no swivels and water drops where I want it to. The more flexibility / maneuverability you want in the fitting , the less tightening / pressure you apply against the ball joint. I wanted zero flexibility so I tightened to maximum. The whole family Loves it and it looks very good...
