Vallejo Model Color 200 ml Polyurethane Primer - Desert Tan Base

Good quality from Vallejo as usual

Bought to use as a brush primer for Citadel miniatures. Needs two coats, but gives a great yellowy / off-white bases for normal or contrast paints (I've tried a few). Great value for money, will be buying more

Beautiful tan colour, works very nicely as a base colour for bone, say skeletons or as sand. Takes a couple of coats with a brush but slightly thinned works amazingly well via an airbrush.Combined with a wash and a suitble bone colour this makes a wonderful base colour in itself and is very easy to paint over.

Applied easily with a couple of thin coats with the airbrush, left it to cure for 24hrs and it seems to stick reasonably well and didn’t obscure any detail. I’ve heard it’s not good if you have to use masking but I didn’t do no problem. It is a bit pricey but should last a long time

It's ok, has fairly poor coverage compared to their black primer.

Looks good on my Saudi AMX 30.

Vallejo paints, they are the best

I use this whenever I am priming for flesh tones. A good warm light color

La tonalità che ho scelto, "desertTan" è perfetta per dare una base neutra leggermente calda. Andrebbe applicata con l'ausilio dell'aerografo, ma non avendolo, anche se applicata a pennello, la stesura solita piuttosto fluida, e con due mani si riesce ad ottenere una buona coprenza complessiva.Consigliatissimo!Vallejo è una garanzia.

Ive always had very good results with vallejo primers... drop of retarder mixed in and it flows flawlessly with a .2mm airbrush... fair price considering the size of the bottle.. i use it for model car body primer... car model interiors.. sands down very nicely for a top notch finish before paint.. A+
