Nutley's6 Traditional 500ml Fluted Glass Bottles & Ceramic Swing Stopper

Sadly I should have read the reviews before purchasing - the ceramic stoppers were very difficult to fit and once fitted (sort of) were not secure, something others have mentioned. I also hadn't realised that they were "vintage" and the ceramic stoppers were cracked/distressed. Fine if you want vintage but I didn't, just something tight lidded to store cordial in. They look very nice but not for what I need so I am returning them.

The bottles are a lovely shape and size. I needed them to fit on a particular shelf in my cupboard so measured very carefully. The bottle fitted, but unfortunately the measurement given did not account for the stopper too! They now adorn - and 'clutter' - my worktop!

Minor complaint; I had to bend two of the caps manually, so that they grab onto bottle correctly. Took a bit of strength and total of 10 seconds. Aside of that, good set of bottles - I use mine for homemade condiments, syrups etc.

Would give it more stars if it was easier to close the cap. At first it would not close at all and took a good thirty minutes to get this sorted.

really nice bottles, lids rather difficult to open and close but I guess they need to be tight if using for fizzy or something

The stoppers were packed separately and when fitted are far too tight for the bottles. I eventually managed to bend the wire with a pair of mole grips to get them to fit but now the stoppers are not level. Pretty poor really.
