This item was very pleasing on the eye and was easy to trim to size, not cheap but worth paying the extra compared to cheaper versions.

lovely bit of oak, but the plastic gripper is not the same as the one pictured, its flimsy blue plastic that splits at the slightest pressure! Bear in mind I fitted another profile earlier the same day (from a different company) and tested, installed, removed over 6 times with no issues, and that plastic gripper looks more like whats in the photo. The one that came with this oak profile split as soon I tried to test it... no idea if I can find a gripper on its on.. shame as it is expensive and the oak is great... unable to installEDIT : after contacting the seller, they kindly sent out a replacement plastic gripping strip, which was different and much better quality than the one that came in the original packaging. I had no issues using this one and installing the oak profile - I've now modified my rating from 2 to 4 stars to reflect the good product and customer service.

I bought this to go between my kitchen and my wooden floors in my dining room. To be completely honest it seems massive when it first arrived.. The way they send it is nice because it protects the ramp really well ie in a tube...But when I fitted it wow It really does look the business. . I am not joking when fitted it looks PERFECT. You soon get over the sheer size of the thing as it doesnt then look so big :). Very very good quality product which is what I was happy with the most. Here is a pic to show you how it looked like after fitting.

These are great quality, easy to fit, and look very smart when fitted. They've got a very hard durable surface that will stand the test of time.You might want to put a small smear of silicon on the inside surface that contacts with a wooden or laminate floor - this will stop squeaks when they're walked on.

Nice quality wood and colour match to the flooring is perfect. Slight niggle that the strip creaks when stepped on which I thinks is down to the plastic strip

Solved the issue of the joint between 18mm oak floor and carpeted rooms beautifully. Very solid oak with nice grain that looks great when fitted. Careful work with a tenon saw and bonding fitting strip to solid concrete floor with Gorilla glue led to the job turning out very well. I was nervous buying without seeing the product however for the price and quality this solution is excellent (I fitted two). Massive improvement over the aluminium strip fitted by the floor fitters.

It’s been in place for six weeks and looks fine. However, you have to be very accurate to fit, little scope for error when lining up timber insert and plastic connection rail, not least as you can’t really see what you’re doing as you are trying to align those components.
