Used as an external water pump
I use this as an external water pump which ive connected inline with a few external filters and a filtration system for my fish tank. The flow i get from this is good (i haven't measured it) but with all the filters connected it doesn't get reduced. Make sure you have all the pipework before you set it up otherwise you may have to make a few trips to your local fish store. Ive been using it for over 6 months now and have no problems, this was the only external water pump i could find with such high flow rate. Definitely good value for money

Maxijet & Reliability
Have used these pumps in my marine set-up for many years and have never had a problem. They are extremely reliable even when used with a wave controller, whereby they are turned on and off many times each day. I have never had one fail yet. They do not have to be fully submerged.An excellent product

Ordered an mj1000 on the 7th of March and it didnt arrive until the 3rd of April. Opened it up and it was an mj500. I was simply told to return it at my own expense and a refund will be given. Absolute clown shoes

Excellent for high background noise rooms
loud buzzing turning to a clatter if you try to reduce flow rate in any way, otherwise, firehose time. Excellent for high background noise rooms, not so good for quiet TV time.
