Looks good, goes up easy, great tent !
What a fantastic tent - it is (just about) possible to put up by yourself and once up it's sturdy, airy, roomy and very comfortable - finally a tent I can comfortably stand up in (and I'm 6' 3" tall) - I was so happy I didn't want to take it down but when I did it was easy to disassemble and fold away.I followed the advice of previous reviews and bought the UV/water proofing and the tarp clips (absolutely essential to ensure a fully dry enclosure at bottom between ground sheet and tent). The instructions for erecting are ok - a little common sense guess work is needed the first time to interpret some vaguer illustrations (I recommend finding someone's diligent demo on YouTube - might even post one myself next time it goes up !).All in all, I can't remember a time when I've been less frustrated and most happy with a tent - it's brilliant for camping, garden parties (in case of the threat of bad weather) or simply giving the kids a groovy outdoor playroom ! Love it ! ;o)

Poor tent for camping, may aswell have slept outside.
where to start? tents groundsheet did not even fit circumference of the actual tipi cover on top so had a ring of grass around the edges...pole had ripped easily through the top bug netting ( which is practically useless as they just walked on in from the bottom groundsheet.buckles to attach ground sheet easily broken and one clip came broken already, not enough tent pegs came with this as well?? i mean having to use boulders to pin down your tipi is not great...water came straight in! now caked in ticks as they just walked in like its a free walk in all you can eat buffet!.overall poor quality and such a waste of money on what can easilly be fixed with a fixed ground sheet and stronger material.have spread the word about this tent and made reviews elsewhere, DO NOT PURCHASE UNLESS TENTS SET UP INDOORS!

Lovely but not reliable
Gutted I'm having to return this tent.CONSIt leaks. Only slightly around the netted windows, but this sort of defies the object of a tent.Single skin creates condensation. The ground sheet is not sewn in, so bit draughty. Critters can get in and pets/small children can get out. Could be sorted with velcro, but didn't want to do this for £150 tent. The design of the doors means that rain will gush in off the tent when you unzip them.PROSIt's an attractive tent.It feels HUGE inside. Two doors allow it to stay cool.REALLY easy to put up/take down.I used it for 4 days in light/medium rain. I was in two minds weather to return it, but staying dry is a pretty important...

Good for the price
Very large space which is great. It absolutely lashed rain while the tent was up and it didn't appear to leak anywhere during the heavy spells (enough rain to cause localised flooding). The floor layer of material was very difficult to spread and there was a good few folds and it just looked untidy. The rain did run in the 2 doorways but this may have been due to the uneven surface . Also quite a bit of condensation formed inside but not enough to make the material drip. It is also very warm and very much felt like a greenhouse. It also is pretty much impossible to fit back into the bag when taken down. It fit into a full black bin bag....which is where it will probably stay if I'm honest.

Excellent tent for BBQ or party's
Excellent tent for BBQ or party's, used it for our daughters 15th birthday sleepover had 14 teenagers sleeping in it and worked really well. Ground sheet not sown in so took the advice of other reviews and bought approximately 25 tarp clips to clip the ground sheet to main outer material, this worked really well. Instructions to put up very poor but a little common sense and previous experience with tents we managed to figure it out and got it up in roughly 30 minutes, packing away was easy and managed to get everything back into the bag first time including the tarp clips and around 20 extra pegs which I would recommend using. All in all very pleased and would buy again.

Amasing!
When we read the views about this giant tipii we wasn't sure what to expect, all we new is that it was big, and could potentially be a disasterAfter a brief read of the instructions which to be honest are brief in them selfs we set about putting it up. We were in South Wales and was quite windy, there was 5 of us putting it up and it went up very easy for such a large tent, I'd say it took us 45 mins - an hour for it to be fully up, after a few needed tweaks of the guide ropes the tent was rigid and sturdy and as there was reports of a bit of a storm coming in we wanted to make sure it was ok. A problem we noticed strait away is that there is a type of skirt round the bottom of the tent were it meets the ground sheet it was flapping around in the wind making a lot of noise a a draft in, but after a few strategic wind breaks it helped prevent them flapping ....... A little. It rained 2 out of 3 days on our camping trip and hailed, the other reviews said water pored in which didn't happen at all to us, yes it did let some water in round the doors where the zips are but not bucket loads. To solve these problems we have tweaked this tipii with 20 "tarp clips" (£17.99) and a 2.5L bottle of tent water proofer (£16.99). We have clipped each section of the skirt down twice to stop it flapping and managed to seal the tent over twice, it's advisable anyway as its also a uv protector to prolong the life of it.All in all this tent should be the other side of £200 nearly £300, I don't think it's worth that but the money we paid for such a great looking tent with so much room, we've had 4 king size blow up beds in it and still had room to move. For £150 you can't expect it to be the worlds best tent but spending that little extra to get those tweaks makes this tent for us amazing.Hope this helps and don't let bad reviews put you off we didn't and we love it!
