Flavour good but a bit dry for my taste

Looks good product , but am pleased I was limited to buying just one , as I’ve only got October to eat it before date expires. I was going to get them for family Christmas gifts but they would be stale by then which is a shame as my Yorkshire dad loves fruitcake with cheese !

This was a birthday cake, for my husband who loves both cheese and fruit cake. He said it was very good cake, and it went well with strong cheddar and various others. Would buy again. Small, but good if only a small but tasty cake is required.

Yes cake with cheese Now that sounds weird but Christmas give it a go Fantastic it was beautiful we ate ours with stilton and it tasted lovely all that was missing was the whiskey or port will buy again oh and the price was modest to an extra bonus

Went down very well with my ‘foodie’ family, a rich, fruit and nut dense treat which pairs beautifully with a good cognac (as well as with cheese as suggested) and a nice alternative to fruit cake.Lasted no time at all, because they all enjoyed it so much.It isn’t huge, but ample to serve up to 6 a modest after dinner portion.Would definitely buy again.

The fruit content was amazing first time tried with cheese and would reccomend to anyone

I was expecting a lot more with this cake. Have ordered the same cake from Scotland before and cake was moist and tasty. Seeing them on Amazon i decided to order two . Cake dry and crumbly. Really dissapointed . Bought it for a birthday gift... I could have bought a fruit cake in my local supermarket which would have been cheaper and better than the dry offerings i ordered from Amazon. Cant return them either... Waste of money.. How disapointing....

This was very tasty, easy to cut, and moist. Makes a nice difference to accompany cheese, but disappointingly small for the price.
