Fun game for moving up tracks and building a rocket to the cheese moon
This game is so fun. I first played it on the Dice Tower Cruise 2023 and then bought it. I've only played 3 times so far. Each player (1-5) chooses a color for the rat team, then, in turn order, moves the rats and markers up any of 3 tracks (junkyard, light string, or rat burrow), takes the actions/resources of the colored space, does any bonus abilities, and contributes to the rocket ship project. There are various strategies people can choose as this game has no random parts (except for the advanced set up that allows for a variable board layout and scoring). As one of my friends told me (with a big smile on her face), she only gains things in the game, so it's fun. There really isn't any "take that" in the game and each rat movement is a choice. For a gamer, this game is quick to understand, and for a non-gamer, the game is more understandable after the first 2-4 rounds.I've found that getting the backpacks and comics early can be very beneficial; my wife even stole a backpack on her second turn. The colorblind comic is very useful, as are the rest of the comics. I haven't played with the super rats yet, though they look fun. With the back side of the board, the spaces are randomized in five groups, which then changes the gameplay and strategy for that game; I'd love to try that version soon. The game seems good for 10+ years old since it does involve some thinking and strategy. Kids could play just to collect things and have adults help them trade in their collections for rocket ship parts or other things.A two player game with gamers lasts about 45 minutes, while a five player game with new players (gamers or not) takes about 1.5 hours. Initial set up takes about 5 minutes, as does putting away the game. Explaining the rules takes about 1-10 minutes, depending on how detailed the explanations are.

Best Game of our Christmas
I saw this game on an Instagram account I follow with game recommendations. I would add it to my cart and then save it for later over and over again. Finally, I decided to bite the bullet and get it for Christmas. I am so glad I did! This game was the hit of the holiday. The game board is delightful with fun illustrations, the pieces are hefty and cute as well. The game is deceptively easy to learn and play and there are so many ways to win. We played it multiple times and loved each playthrough. The rules are well-written and easy to figure out (such a nice change since so many game rulebooks really need a good editor). This is a game that anyone can play and should be on the shelf of any family with even a passing interest in board games.

Theme is good for a chuckle
OK, so in this game rats think the moon is made out of cheese and they are busy making rocket ships out of garbage in their effort to get there. I mean, come on, that is a cool theme! That said, I liked the game - can see both kids (starting at ~ 9) and adults enjoying this - but did not fall head over heels for it. Staying in my collection for a good while but I can see tiring of the game over the longer haul.

One of my favorite new games.
No dice to roll, no cards to play, and barely any kind of confrontational gameplay. The worst you can do is take an item from a shop that someone else would like. Very simple in its gameplay, but very complex for its strategy. The theme is the best. It even has a randomized b side, and a single player option.

Great game for the family

Fantastic
This game is a bit heavy for your average family, but if you're a gamer with kids I think most could handle it pretty well. If youve played parks this shares a lot of DNA, and is better imo

Fine if a bit slight
This board game is fine. Not bad but not much depth. Basically just set collection and getting points. Its a fine game but at the price-point I would say there are better games out there unless you just REALLY like collecting different items in order to trade them in and place a cube on a point slot that will score at the end of the game. After a handful of plays I don't see it getting back to the table.
