HypoWallet - Glucose Energy Kit

Having just been diagnosed as diabetic, I am still trying to get my head round everything and learn my limitations, but am well aware I need to be careful.I decided to look for something for emergencies as I like to walk for exercise and I found this. In the (hopefully very unlikely) event I suffer a hypo this has everything I need for help. The case is small enough to easily fit the pocket of a coat/cargo pants/bag, while being sturdy enough to protect the contents, and while I have not tested it yet, I believe given the material, the case will also provide some thermal protection to prevent the contents getting hot in the summer heat (in the rare event of a hot English summer).The contents are varied enough for most peoples likes dislikes; chewable tabs, gels and a drink, and having read the labels the manufacturers have gone to the effort of using gluten free items for those unfortunate enough to be intolerant to gluten products. As others have said the replacements for the contained items are not cheap, as is the case with most specialised diabetic products, however I feel it unfair to penalise this item for replacement costs.All in all an excellent and well put together item.

I have recently been put on Insulin and was informed about hypos so I purchased this wallet to carry with me everywhere. The wallet arrived very quickly and in perfect condition and is handy enough to put in a bag very easily and the contents were surprisingly cool!!! it's like they had just been taken out the fridge!!! this really made me very happy as it told me the contents were fresh. The contents contained a tube of very tasty glucose tablets and a bottle of liquid glucose as well as two tubes of glucose all of which contain a minimum of 15% fast acting carbohydrate which will get you back to normal within at least 10 minutes. Purchasing re-fills is easy as the company supply their web address or you can use Amazon. the wallet is so robust it will last for a very very long time so a purchase well worth having

I am a type 1 Diabetic and bought one of these to be sensible, I keep it in my car because thats when I can be at my most vulnerable and have been caught out. I have had to take the glucose tablets and found I recover alot quicker than having a sugary drink, fruit or jelly babies (which is what I normally have).The pack has enough in it to bring you out of more than 1 hypo, you either take the juice, tablets or paste. I think this pack is a superb little life saver.

I bought two of these kits just in case - one for the car and one for the home. These packs are compact and contain a glucose drink, glucose tablets and two tubes of glucose gel. Also included is a card with details of hypo symptoms and another with recommended actions based the severity of the hypo. You can also add emergency contact details to the main card. The items are packed into a small but robust case (about the size of a pocket camera)which is clearly marked so you can find it in an emergency.In my opinion this product fits the bill perfectly by having all the right components which are carefully packed. The price is also represents good value. Ideal for diabetics.

i bought this hypowallet because i was looking for something that would make things easier for me during a hypo and for what you get in it it is definitely well worth the money . so not only is it good value for money but it has also been a lifesaver me . i would definitely recommend this item

I work in the ambulance service in London and I am absolutely delighted with my Hypowallet. It contains enough of what could be needed to reverse a hypoglycaemic attack. Shielded in a semi armoured case it prevents the contents from being damaged or ruptured in transit. I will be showing it to all my colleagues and recommending it to everyone ! My best purchase of the year!

Great compact kit. Easy to replace item and keeps a good stock of hypo emergency supplies. Really please with this item. The case is quite hard casing and came fully stocked. The lettering on the outside is clear and easy to find in an emergency.

Great product, if working dogs run out of energy these are great to squeeze onto their gums. Case is excellent and sturdy to protect the tubes of glucos in.
