I am putting the pull up bar in a basement gym. Out of the box I was impressed with the build quality. The welds all look well done and the paint feels like a black powder coat so it has some texture. I still might wrap the bar with grip tap, but the texture provides some grip.This pull up bar is way nicer than the over the door ones that I have hurt myself with in the past. So, needless to say, I have trust issues with pull up bars, but this one looks good enough to hold my 200 pound weight.It comes with all the hardware you need to install. My only knock, the box claims "wall mount" on the next production run, change "wall" to "ceiling" so no one gets the wrong idea.

This bar is a piece of junk. Firstly, it speaks volumes of the manufacturer when this package arrived in a box that was ripped to shreds. I would pass this blame onto the handler, but I've never recieved packaging so violently distorted from any mail carrier in my life. It was clearly stored in an area exposed to sunlight or other elements. Second, the construction is some of the most lackluster attempt of metallurgy that I have personally witnessed. There are stress fractures so bad they can be seen through the parkerized coating. The feet are bent and incapable of being installed flushed with the ceiling. Care and thought was not taken into consideration during the manufacturing and packaging process which ruined an otherwise mediocre but effective product. For $100, just bite the bullet and buy professional products and steer clear of these amatuers. Note: the mounting feet are pictured with a 90⁰ framing square.

So far this heavy-duty mount for the pull-up bar has been amazing my fiance is kind of a Gym junkie and he loves his intense workouts, he fit the weight capacity since he's around 220 lbs so the 500 lb capacity was just great for almost both of us to be on there but he definitely is enjoying how it's making his stamina feel right along with the shape that he was looking for with his cross reps, it is an awesome pull-up bar and it definitely needed to be a part of the workout collection we have, thank you again!

This bar is great! I have been using a basic doorway bar, which does this pull up bar no justice whatsoever.My boyfriend had to strategically place this mount in the garage due to its weight alone, to ensure the mount was secure, as it is heavy duty and well... heavy. While that makes for a sturdy piece of equipment, it also makes it a bit more difficult to install as you don't want to damage your property by incorrectly installing.Mounted it looks and works amazingly well. I appreciate it ability to adjust so makes it nice for everyone in the family to utilize according to their workout plan.Its a quality bar, and its durability does not go unnoticed.Gym equipment can cost, but I think this bar is very reasonably priced.

The media could not be loaded. Overall 1 star. The material and quality is good. HOWEVER, the brackets to attach to the ceiling are 9” x 3” and will not catch a stud on all 4 corners of one bracket. Apart from that, the pull up bar width is fixed at 46” and you will not catch a stud at the next bracket. You can make this pull up bar install but that will require more material and tools as an additional project. By attaching 2x4’s to the exterior of the drywall on studs, and then install the pull up bar to those 2x4’s. Do not order this pull up bar kit. The one page included instructions are abysmal as you can see.

When I received this I took it straight to the garage. I knew that was one place that had the room and had the studs to mount to! It’s very easy to put together, Also easy to mount. I used lag bolts just to be on the safe side! Kit can handle a good amount of weight!! Very good quality and craftsmanship!!

I had an easy time assembling this pull-up bar. However, make sure you have plenty of clearance because you are going to want to lower the bar in order to pull yourself all the way without hitting your head. However, even though it states it can hold up to 500 lbs, I'm not so sure based on the thinner bar being used. I'm 250 lbs and a bit nervous about how long this will last. Maybe it will last forever, maybe it won't. Time will tell. I will post an update if I have any issues with the bar.

I have a bar inside my house attached to the wall, but with 8' ceilings I cannot go above it. I wanted a bar to install under my deck to do muscle ups. This did the trick. My deck is 10 feet off the ground, so the bar can hang down and I can get above it. It has been holding up well so far.
