10/10 highly recommend! I purchased this item super last minute for a long road trip. We traveled from South Texas to Northern Central California! Drove straight without no stopping to sleep, only to pump gas, and this cargo carrier held up phenomenally!! I was very pleased and satisfied with the carrier and the non-slip mat! It was very easy to use, extremely easy to install and I love the fact that it came with the door hooks that were also easy to install! The only issue we had was that we pulled too hard on one of the straps and the plastic clip slightly broke, however, it still stayed in place, it did not break completely and gave us no issues whatsoever! It was over 25 hours to drive straight there one way and the carrier did not budge, move or damage any of the luggage. It was not loud or noisy, we did notice a bit of a difference in our MPG but that was more so due to the fact that we drove through a high wind advisory warning area. If you are needing something quick, convenient, and still great quality i would highly recommend this product!

Bought this for a trip from NY to Florida and didn't want a bulky Thule. This cargo bag exceeded expectations. It held firm round trip from NY to Florida with hours of rain. All luggage inside was bone dry. Held 6 medium to large pieces of luggage easily.

The media could not be loaded. Of the 4 sectors in which all 8 straps are sown into the PVC material one of the sections was installed backwards! This is hazardous as eliminates the shear strength of the straps. Naturally, I did not use this product until after 30 days so now I’m stuck with a car top carrier that was improperly manufactured!

I took the cargo bag on a two hour trip to the beach. It was easy to install. I was very happy, because it stayed in place. There was no noises or flapping coming from the rooftop. Everything went well, until it rained. I thought that the bag would be dry inside, but there were puddles. Thank God I only had two child car seats inside the bag. It’s a good, durable cargo bag, but not waterproof.

So I was very excited to get this as with a family of 5 it's sometimes hard to get all of our belongings into the far back of our vehicle while still making what we need accessible.This does install easily (the non slip mat is separate and laid out first, but works) although unless you have it completely crammed full and maybe topped off with clothes or similar it doesn't hold a solid, windstreaming shape. Other issues is this makes you crimp and wrinkle it up, which during our longer trip did start the outer coating to flake a little. I see this being an issue that in just a few uses would leave this very non-water resistant.The zippers initially seem impressive as well as they've got a flap that goes over making them very much shed water as well. However, when you start getting them bunched up under the straps, this changes. Although I didn't have any rain during our trip, I see these all as possible issues. Regardless this doesn't seem that it would last very long so definitely not worth the price.Even useability, you of course have to unfasten it to access anything in it. Not horrible but something to think about.I DO like the fact that it fastens securely at least under right conditions and allows also for fastening without a roof rack or passing a strap clear through the car (which could be done with your own cord with about any pack.The "hooks" are flat and don't cause really any interference with the door or seal, so there are those positivies.But again, just not worth the price as a disposable roof carrier.

I waited to write a review until I used this, we had a huge rain fall and everything was still dry. Very heavy duty and holds a ton of stuff, I was very impressed with the quality and would recommend!
