As expected, makes a lovely gift.

This manicure set contains everything you need to care for your hands and keep them looking nice; an emery board, a 38ml jar of cuticle cream and a 50ml bottle of hand cream. It’s very prettily presented, with a box with the same patterns found on the nail file and the hand care products bottles. I did have a massive sense of déjà vu when receiving this product; part from the design colour and brand name, it looks exactly the same as the Cath Kidston nail care kit I bought late last year, but this Vintage and Co version is half the price.‘Braids & Blooms’ is advertised as ‘a beguiling scent with notes of wild roses amongst fresh hay, the intoxicating combination of jasmine, lily and violet’. I can’t distinguish any particular flower, but find that the creams have a pleasing, very light, floral scent. The hand cream has a nice thick consistency and absorbs well into the skin; leaving your hands feeling well moisturised. I am prone to eczema on my hands so tend to steer clear of scented products, but I’ve had no reaction or itching after using this cream. The cuticle cream has the same light flowery scent but is slightly runnier, yet it again works well into the cuticles and the surrounding skin.The emery board is very pretty to look at, but is definitely tougher than my Cath Kidston one. It does have enough graininess to it to actually file your nails as opposed to just buff them. Overall this manicure set is very well presented in attractive packaging with products on par with well-known designer brands but at half the cost.

I found the patterns used on this nail set to be very attractive - the nail file has enough courseness to really get your nails into shape.The cuticle cream worked very effectively, softening hard skin overnight, making it easy to deal with. It has a light scent; a gentle floral overtone that is subtle enough not to be too noticeable.The hand cream has a similar fragrance, and a slightly thicker consistency. For the price, it is a pretty and an effective choice.

For a low price this is a nice gift set, attractively packaged and comprising emery board, hand moisturiser and cuticle cream. I must admit that I'm not really sure what the point of cuticle cream is or why people would choose to use it, but working on the assumption that some people must find it useful, I'd definitely recommend this set at the current price of below £10.The floral scent of the moisturiser and cream is the main selling point. It's very light and subtle, not overpowering, and the moisturiser soaks in well without leaving a feeling of grease. I have particularly dry skin and this helped to moisturise without irritating my broken skin at all, which is always a good sign. Overall, a nice small gift package.

This is a gift set, the tag has space on the reverse for you to write who the gift is for, and who from. There is a nail file (emery board), which appears to be fine grained and patterned on both sides, a hand cream and cuticle cream. Both smell lovely - I realise this is subjective, but for me, I love the smell of shea butter, and, when combined with almond oil as in the cuticle cream - it is divine.I hadn't been using hand cream regularly, so there was a noticeable difference in the softness, particularly on day 2.Overall, I think this would make a lovely gift, it is useful, and attractive.

Although the creams didn't get much the use, the emery boards where very appreciated.

wonder hand cream , a bit heavy when first applied but soon sinks into your skin. As for the aroma...well I'm in heaven, beautiful...

Lovely set - excellent as a gift - it even has a pretty gift label.Nice set, delicately scented with hand cream, cuticle cream and an emery board - every girl needs such a set.The hand-cream is not too greasy, it sinks in well and does leave the skin feeling softened and loved.The real problem might be that you buy it as a gift and keep it!!!
