Expertly regulates pressure
I was a bit dubious about this plasticy-looking cheap version of the Hozelock pressure reducer, but it was cheap enough to give it a whirl. And I'm glad I did because it performs flawlessly - it limits the outlet water pressure but maintains a high flow-rate so even many many sprinklers are unaffected by what their neighbour is doing or how many there are (within reason, of course - the inlet has to be able to supply at a decent flow rate).It says the pressure is reduced to 1.1bar and whilst I have no way to test that it actually is that, it is low enough not to blow off 4mm pipes which have been pushed on connectors without the benefit of a cup of hot water.

Disappointing
The RACO Expert 46040 does at least regulate pressure and is capable of providing a good flow rate. The problem for my application is that, when the pressure reduction kicks in, a jet of water vents through a hole in the side of the body - the more output flow is restricted the more the water vented. Even brief use results in a pool of water on the greenhouse floor.

A good replacement for equivalent Hozelock valve.
A replacement for another make which suddenly developed water hammer. Has worked without problem since installation on my irrigation system and no wTer hammer.

Poco più che un giocattolo - inutilizzabile! 😡
Una volta installato ci sono stati subito problemi di tenuta. Infatti la fielttatura e la guarnizione non sembrano svolgere il loro compito come dovrebbero. Ho dovuto aggiungere diversi giri di teflon.Inoltre non riduce veramente la pressione, ma crea immagino una strozzatura al passaggio dell'acqua.Dal foro di sfiato esce quindi copiosamente tutta l'acqua che non riesce a continuare il percorso nel tubo, con il risultato di allagare tutta la zona vicino al riduttore.Praticamente si è rivelato essere un prodotto inutile e inutilizzabile. Sono stato costretto a restituirlo.Ovviamente non ti consiglio l'acquisto.

Réduit la préssion mais en générant une fuite d'eau, du coup ça gaspille énomément d'eau
