Worked well, good quality
Could be shorter. 3D mark PCI bus speed test somehow increased slightly, so bo impact there. Still runs at 16x

It's a cable, it does what it's meant to but jebus it's expensive
I specifically went for this cable due to it being one of the few "known brand" gen 4 riser cables. It's far too expensive for what it is though. It's easy enough to install, it does require standoffs connected to the case.Better value options may be available if gen 4 is not an absolute requirement and in hindsight, I think a gen 3 cable would have been adequate for my needs.

works
Works Ok it was easy to put in. my corsair 7000x case came with all the fixing you need to fix it in place, only thing I found the cable a little bit stiff

It's an extension lead.
I think these are very overpriced for what they are, but it now frees up the extra PCIe slot on my motherboard. (Just make sure your GPU isn't too close to the case front)

Works as well as direct connection to the PCIe x16 slot
Case: 5000D airflowIt fits nicely, but beware: you will need to use two motherboard standoffs in the ssd slots to fit the cable, which means you'll have to mount the sata ssds at the back. Not an issue for me as I only have nvme drives, but worth mentioning.Didn't have to tinker in the BIOS to get this to work, so essentially plug and play.Ran a gaming sessions and noticed no difference, or increased latency. The game is a first person shooter, so I would assume that if I didn't notice an increase in latency then it's safe for less demanding games.

Worth the premium
Tried another manufacturer first, but I had issues with my GPU temps jumping from 55 degC to 90 degC. Sometimes I had bluescreens when under load.I gave up and switched out for this, and it made a massive difference. Temps returned to normal and my 6900XT AIO now sits proudly within my case for all to see.
