I cut a lot of cardboard boxes and I was worried that one day I may cut my hand, so I looked for a pair of chain mail gloves like they use in kitchens and butcher shops. Then I saw these. The appeal of these gloves it that they are lightweight and won't rust. Again, I am just cutting cardboard boxes and sometimes I get a serious papercut. This is definitely papercut proof! I use a utility knife and I am very careful not to cut off my fingers. These gloves might not protect me if I try to cut off my fingers with a utility knife, but if I accidentally slip and cut myself, I am confident that it will protect me. For the price, recylcled materials, and degree of protection, these gloves are perfect. If they get damaged, I'll just buy another pair--it's not that expensive whereas chain mail is expensive and maybe overkill for what I need.

Received quickly, great value and impressive quality. Prevents cutting my fingers when pulling in a fish on braided fishing line. Prior to wearing the gloves, when I grabbed the braided line to pull a fish into the boat, I would cut my finger or thumb badly. Easy solution to a serious problem. Will also be using them when I harvest and shucking oysters in the Fall to prevent cutting my hands on the sharp shells. When the gloves get nasty from handling a fish, I throw them into the wash. Very pleased with my purchase. Highly recommend.

As I've aged, I've had numerous issues with my hands from arthritis and other ailments. I've been a gourmet cook for 40 years but now I have trouble gripping knives. Because I'm rather fond of the fingers I have, regardless of how well they work, I'd like to keep them. The gloves give a more secure grip and I know I'm not going to slice off a thumb.ALL'S GOOD.

I liked nothing about this product other than the look. When I put them to the test the knife Cutt right thru them. I am glad these where not on my hand hands on my line cook. It is very deceiving to say that these gloves are 100% Cutt resistant. THEY ARE NOT!!!!!!

These gloves wouldn't work, they can be snipped by a pair of scissors. No way am I going to use my mandoline with these!
