Buffalo Games - Aimee Stewart - Vintage Birdwatcher - 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle

This is such a colorful and fun puzzle! There’s nothing particular challenging in this one and it can be worked pretty quickly. I was fresh off a much harder puzzle so a nice casual one was exactly what I wanted. I’d say the hardest part was probably the binoculars, but there is so much color and varied items in this that it’s pretty clear where most of the pieces will go. Comparing this to my other Buffalo Games puzzles, the pieces on this one were very good and I had no issues. All in all, I think the content in the Aimee Stewart puzzles is always so much fun and this one definitely did not disappoint!

This is indeed a puzzle unlike anything I've ever seen! I just started it and probably won't try to finish it. MANY pieces are gray on both sides. MANY pieces have a picture but are super-thin. I've been able to match some of the thin picture pieces to gray pieces so maybe something didn't get glued properly but went through the printing and cutting process anyway. Some pieces also seem to be missing; maybe the thin tops were torn up during production and only the gray bottoms remain because I think I have more all gray pieces than thin printed pieces. A real puzzle of a puzzle! Sad that the return window has closed; I loved this picture so much I was saving it until I completed a few that were not quite so pretty.

My husband had difficult with this puzzle, but mainly it was a "guy thing" - difficulty telling colors apart. The only thing that was weird for me was that there are some portions that are photo quality, and some are watercolor, so the crispness of the visual differed.

I had a lot of fun putting this Buffalo Games puzzle together. It is 1000 pieces but is not super hard. The pieces fit together perfectly and the end result is well worth the effort. Quite beautiful! Buffalo Games is one of my favorite brands, and I highly recommend this puzzle.

I like Buffalo puzzles, particularly Aimee Stewart’s puzzles. I’m surprised and disappointed that there was not a poster included. The listing said one would be included. I’ve noticed a few others have made the same comment.
