I ordered this Tiger Tank on the 2nd January 2019, so forget all those negative reviews that are 5 years old and do not relate to Heng Longs upgraded stunning Tank, that was then this is now and over the last few years the factory has obviously overhauled their quality control and the result is sensational. At over two hundred pounds it is expensive, but, as I write this on the 6th March 2019 I can state it is worth every penny and is indeed a high quality product. The Tank arrived very promptly and was well wrapped to protect the inner cardboard box with its thick polystyrene inner casing, which revealed an immaculate undamaged vehicle with all the separate parts. Removing the tank from its inner poly box is tricky, but, it came out and over the next hour and a half, I put the various parts together and charged up the battery. Once put together and the battery installed in the chassis and the RC loaded with batteries, off we went for a road test. I can state categorically that absolutely everything worked perfectly from the engine, engine noise, directional control, turret rotation, smoke and gun operation. The handbook is slightly contradictory on how to fire the recoiling cannon, but, you just use the top two silver buttons, hold down the right and press the left with a very realistic recoil, noise and projectile being fired. The tank climbs over cushions, gravel, grass and deep shag carpets, it is amazing and looks very sinister. Like others have done I introduced it to my wife when she was in the kitchen and gave her a broadside, which she proudly declared had missed, so we made our escape. This tank is so much fun on many levels and my next step is to hand paint it in central European colours from the ill fated Operation Barbarossa. I cannot recommend this tank to highly, as a great toy for adults and as a very high quality Tiger replica....go on treat yourself your only alive a short time and this is the real deal.

Considering the price!Their Quality control leave a lot to be desired! testing properly!Out of the box connected up the battery and the right hand track was having serious drive problems.The tank had to be returned as something was amiss, gearbox?The new tested replacement tank, worked fine until I tried to charge the battery, the mains charger got hot after 20 minutes, green light came on to signify charged, plugged it in, Nothing!Had to wait for a replacement battery, this one works as it should.So I suspect These are a production line build product so various problems may occur.The battery however that comes with it is CHEAP AND NASTY best order an upgraded one!

The Heng Long electronics are very poor! Having got the tank in early August it has done virtually no running as it was being painted into a LSSAH replica. Despite this the smoke generator failed within days tho this was replaced immediately by an excellent vendor. Now the receiver board is on the fritz with no tank recoil and an inability to turn off smoke at the handset! This tank has done virtually no running! I have had very similar issues with a new HL Panther. LET ME STRESS that this was from a different supplier but in this case the receiver failed after three days! The electrical components on these tanks seem to be VERY suspect. One can only hope that the rubbish QC also applies to China’s proper weapon systems. This vendor is excellent but the quality issue lies with Heng Long.

i got this and basically its ok . but soon upgraded to taigen as most parts just swapped right over. good tank to learn RC hobby but you will soon want more if you enjoy it.

Great fun hits things 50ft away

My girlfriend didn't know that it shoots BB's. She does now, though, and can move more quickly than the turret turns. I did not think of slewing it on its tracks, too late now.My only criticism is that it's so fast, it can race around like a Ferrari, not exactly scale.Great fun though, recommended.the only difference between men and boys, is the price of their toys!!
