Arlent 599B Soldering Iron Tip Cleaning Wire Nozzle Cleaner Sponge

Very good build, brass wool works well to clean tip, good amount of room to wipe tip off, had a sticker base but I wanted to use from a house room to work shop so I can not comment on suction/adhesive properties, it was a little light so I used a cut off from a steel rod to add weight, there's plenty of replacement brass wool on the net but I used steel wool that I had and it worked, great price, quick delivery, useful.

Soldering iron tip cleaner's a good idea. It cuts down on thermal shock to the iron which in turn would seem to make the tips last longer. However, not enough of the wiping material supplied in the pot. Also, I found the pot a bit on the light side and occasionally ended up chasing it around the bench. So, if fixed in place, it was very good indeed.

Works as should only down side is I have added weight to it because it is very light

If you need to clean your tip this is for you ... can't fault it

Les services postaux se sont bien amusés, je pense qu’ils ont dû marcher ou dormir dessus.J’ai remis la tôle à la main mais c’est ennuyeux d’acheter un produit neuf et d’en recevoir un complètement applati.Ceci dit le produit fait son job..

Ottimo prodotto, peccato che la parte superiore non rimane perfettamente agganciata alla base, infatti è un po' larga quest'ultima.
