Was wanted on a “hole made fire” glue not to good ( or dirty steel) but it’s done all I’ve asked : no problems at all after extra glue 👍👍

Adhesive didn't last at all, but used glue to re-stick and it has been ok since

Adhesive is not heatproof. Fails at 180 degrees.
Initially went on OK to seal an AGA oven door. While the door was pressing on the rope all was good but the first time the door was opened, it all fell off. This is at a temperature of 180 degrees C. So a pretty useless product unless it stays under pressure.
