Sadly these are not totally dishwasher proof
They are not dishwasher proof, after a few months the blade works loose from the handle. Its a shame because they are a good spreading and light cutting knife for making sandwiches. I have tried superglue drizzled down the shaft with the blade in place, it works for a while. I have two and they are both the same. Still a worthwhile buy if you hand wash.

Spreading made easy
Really gd product, makes sandwich making easy, spreads real easy, rattles a bit after been used for awhile, but apart from don’t leave in hot water too long, not sure about dishwasher,as the blade has separated from its body,a pity as the ease of use was great, will see if I can get the top off and superglue. It back in,

gives a good spread
Gives a good spread and I liked the serrated edge ideal for cutting the buttered toast, the only down I have to say is the blade is probably too bendy, other than that it is a lovely utensil to use

Gone wobbly
I have only used it a few time and the blade has gone wobbly where it joins the handle - shame as it looks good. Disappointed. would NOT recommend

Finally found it
My mum has been looking for another one of these for ages, so I sent one to her and one to my sister. When I find one in Amazon Australia I will get one for me. Haven’t used them, but Mum swears by her original, so I’m hoping these are just as good.

Ordered 6 in Past. Some Broke :(
Overall the butter knife is very good, that is when the blade doesn't come away from the handle, which alas some of ours did.Originally placed an order of 3 for myself in June 2018 - 1 of them was loose, but the other 2 were fine and did a great job. So much so, ordered another 3 in July 2018 for family members - however 2 of those quickly came apart. So currently at a 50 / 50 ratio of good versus handleless. Real shame as I like I say, when they're solid they work really well.To replace the 3 items that were damaged I'm ordering 3 more. Given they are cheap, it's simpler than arranging refunds with the seller, who I assume would play ball. However if any of these 3 don't last I will of course speak with the seller. So given their cost and 50 / 50 ratio of working over non-working they are a good purchase. Still better than many others we've tried over the years. My rating would actually be 3.5 out of 5.
