Has one of those irritating safety things where you can't insert a plug unless the plug includes an earth prong. (the 3rd top prong), which pushes a safety thing out of the way. This is fine for some plugs... but not all plugs have them. Some plugs only have 2 prongs. For those, this is useless.

Completely useless. Two of the three prongs are sealed off with cardboard and you cannot open the plug to remove it as the screws are custom built to the company so a screwdriver does not work. Spend your money elsewhere.

This is NOT suitable for 3 pin USA adaptor as shown in the advert. The left and right holes are sealed not open as shown in the advert picture. Very disappointed.

Once the supplier had advised me that I was being too gentle with it and that I needed to push really hard to open the pin holes it worked brilliantly. I have to admit Iwas scared of breaking it but I needn't have been.

Needed this for an Aussie plug, luckily it has 3 prongs but even so the sheer amount of force needed to be able to trigger the safety covers to move is unnecessary.Will be no good for 2 prong plugs as the earth prong (top one) is needed to release the safety covers. I wouldn't have known had I not read other reviews (after I purchased it).Very frustrating and fiddly. Would not recommend. It's not "robust" it's just poorly designed.Managed to get the plug in so I won't be asking for a refund, but beware - especially if you have limited hand strength or mobility, this is not the one for you.

Just the job when those smaller "shaver adaptors" aren't up to the task. Ideal for anything that carries a little more power (5 or 13 amp) with a 2 pin plug. A guitar amplifier in my case.Another reviewer has mentioned that they are a little wide: this is true, but 2 of them fit comfortably side by side in a standard double socket if that's helpful?

Got this after a really cheap plug melted using the kettle with it. Really secure fit for the appliance pins (chinese 3 prong wall socket) which is impressive given Chinese socket pins are very thin and weedy compared to British plugs.

Plug came in a plastic bag. Uninspired. But it does work. Which is the most important thing. The item is much larger than it seems in the images, took me off guard, I have another adapter that is much smaller. I also found it to be very tight on the US side of the plug. While it doesn’t affect functionality, it is worth noting. It’s still working fine however.
