Tidy way to split an amplified antenna signal between FM/AM and DAB
I used this to split the amplified rear-window integrated antenna on my car between FM/AM and DAB for the aftermarket Sony stereo I'd fitted. Installed it, powered the stereo up, let it tune, and I had DAB, FM, and AM, in a car that was built before DAB was a "thing". Signal strength is fine; sometimes struggles in built-up areas but that can be said for any radio. When it works, which it often does, it works well. The hardest part of installation was extracting the radio from the car. Fitting this splitter was as simple as unplugging the antenna from the back of the stereo and into the female antenna-in socket, and plugging the split cables into the back of the stereo. Don't know what the extra power lead was for, but I didn't need it.It was a super-clean and easy install, and works as described.
