I use fake freckles as a means to avoid using foundation on my acne prone skin, and “blend acne scars in”. These pens are worth it in the bigger pack, not so much worth it individually. I layer all the colors together starting with the lightest making the most dots and then the darker ones making the least amount of spots. The ink doesn’t get into my pores, and the colors aren’t wonky like fading to green or nothing. But the cap does have the ink color on it and you can see the undertones for most of these browns are blue/green, so I can see why some people would mention the discoloration, but that blue/green undertone doesn’t come through on your skin after application.

This is so very cute just to add a *bit of spice* to your makeup looks (especially in the summer). The pink pen is much more realistic and faint than the white pen; making it appear a lot more realistic. I have been fooling a lot of people, even my own mom, that they are real freckles. The white pen, I hate, because it looks like a dirt puddle on my face. :| That one sucks, but the pink pen.. oh yeah.. the cutest.

i don’t write reviews often but i was really happy with this so i had to write about it. i went for a more subtle freckle look as i’m still getting comfortable with it but i was really happy with the results. i tested it on my hand the night before and i washed my hands multiple times since then and it’s still on my hand, so waterproof it definitely is. the tip is really fine and sharp so it’s easy to be precise, i definitely recommend :)

I think there’s something better you could find for this type of thing that would make it look more natural. Kinda looks like something you’d get and wear for halloween. Less of like a natural thing. Not bad for the money. I would definitely try it out if you’re just wondering what you’d look like with freckles or if you need freckles for costume or sometime. I got it more so for my makeup and stuff. Not the greatest for that because I wanted it to look more natural. But not too bad either, worth the money in my opinion.

I think they look VERY natural! I have really pale skin and some natural freckles already, and I can hardly tell the difference between the freckles I draw on with these and my real ones. For someone with a darker skin tone, I'm not sure how well the light brown pen would work. For someone like me, it's perfect. The dark brown is a little dark for me if I don't smudge it. I try to use it sparingly. I usually draw a few dots on my face and quickly pat my finger over it to get rid of any excess ink the pen has left over. If I have one complaint, it's that I need to do this sometimes. For the price, and how easy it is to use, it isn't a big deal to me!

I’ve been using freckle markers for a while now and these are okay. The dark one isn’t very good (pigmented) in my opinion so I’m just using an older one I already have. Definitely try to pat it down before it dries to get a more natural look! But that goes for all freckle markers in my experience. The light one is a lot like the Lime Crime one but way less expensive. I haven’t had these for very long so I can’t say much about the longevity of these markers yet.
