The most expensive grips around but they are worth it!Top quality, no flex, no play, just a really nicely made tool

The title says it all. Nothing really comes close to these. I've used many pairs over many years and they are the most reliable mole grips I have ever purchased.

Firstly I would take issue with the description. These are NOT "Mole Grips". Mole were a Newport based company making the real thing and far superior to these, probably Chinese made grips. I still have a smaller genuine Mole Grip which is still perfect after many years use.These are quite sturdy construcion and do lock firmly with a good release lever. I don't see the point of the locking slide, either they lock or they don't.Why only two stars? The serrated jaws are not hardened. First use they lost the serrations and grip on a mild steel threaded stud when removing it.Far too expensive for what I though would be a quality item. Just buy a cheaper, also Chinese made equivalent. It is probably no worse.

I bought these on a Amazon sale day and got them for a very good price.These replaced a very old pair of grips and have to say these are very much stronger than my last pair and look like they will last well.They now sit on standby for when my wife is out of order, perfect for latching on noses or (.)

More than I wanted to pay but perfect for the one job I needed them for.

Probably the simplest job these will have to do but just clamping these clips and then locking on with the lock pin knowing it won't twang off and do damage 👍 these are awesome and they will be ideal for multiple suspension jobs

Best vice grips I've owned got me out of a lot of trouble on cqr whether holding spinning ball joints or just getting some grip on rounded bolts like a recent abs sensor. The end allows a screw driver or such to be inserted which j use to provide extra torque and ensure a good grip on the damaged bolt

The jaws don’t meet together. They are not even square. Probably wouldn’t affect the overall performance that much but I consider it an indicator of how they were manufactured in general. They have some weight to them which is good but as for the gimmicky lock on the handle it just feels cheap and pointless and an afterthought. They arrived fairly scratched all over which really shows with the black paint. I returned them and bought some knipex. The difference is noticeable immediately. The jaws meet together much better, and have a much better feel and appearance
