Covers a large area

I needed a new hearth rug and this one was the only sizable one I could afford. It will only be used during fireplace season which is short in central NC. It is thin and quite ugly, but hopefully it will protect my floors from embers or accidents.

It stops sparks well, but moves a little too easily, other than that I'm pleased.

Works great

Very thin . Not much thicker than a bed sheet . Backing is very slippery . This mat will slide out from under you in a heart beat . Especially on hard surfaces .

Not what I expected, it's extremely thin and floppy and scoots around the floor too easily. It's way too hard to clean if you get ashes on it the ash kind of smashes into it and stays even with a high powered vacuum not all the ashes are coming up so it looks like crap and I wanted it to look nice and be easy to clean I can't return it obviously now because it's all dirty and I don't want to go through the trouble of having to pack it back up and take it to a drop off location.
