Blood Sister: Dark, gritty and unputdownable (Flesh and Blood Series Book One)

This is the first book in a new trilogy by Dreda and I can't wait to start reading the next Blood Mother. This is a gritty book about the rough east end gangster but it's showing from the tough women who also frequent this world. I was gripped from page one I've never been disappointed in any of Dreda's books and if this is a genre you like you won't be either. I highly recommend this book.

Loved it. Twists and turns and didn't expect in the last couple of chapters to find out about Dee being their sister. A fiery bunch of women would highly recommend it. Starting follow-up, hope it's just as good

A great story and I'm looking forward to blood mother, the follow up to this book. I discovered Dreda in about 2009 after her first book geezer girls which I loved and equally enjoyed the other stories in the trilogy, as well as the subsequent stand alone stories that she released around this time. Then she seemed to vanish for a few years and I missed her gritty exciting stories. When I saw a new release in 2014 I was so excited to read it but Dreda seemed to have changed her style of writing and although good, I didn't enjoy as much as her earlier writing. This book was great and it seems Dreda has her mojo back! I won't spoil the story for people but I would highly recommend this and her earlier books.

I read this book after my friend told me about it and i am so glad i did as its fantastic,a brilliant story about love, loss,fear and above all family.I was hooked from the start well done to the author on a fabulous plot.(SANDRA BLOWER on hubbys account )

I really enjoyed reading this book it was a light relief from blood and gore some funny parts and a brilliant twist I would recommend this book it's a Great Read

Loved it, could not put it down more twists and turns than a rollercoaster ride.If you are a fan of Martina Cole and Kimberley Chambers then buy this you will not be disappointed.. Well done to the author.

Don't start this book unless you have time to read it all. I have not put it down since starting to read it. Great read with good twist at the end.

Okay so I guess I am in the minority here as the majority of these reviews are fab, but I found it quite a let down.
