I love these paints! The quality is great for the low price and I'm an artist on a BUDGET. They are versatile, even having the ability to create a water color affect. The pigments are deep, solid, and vibrant with no obnoxious smell. Spreadability and coverage are fantastic because all you need are a few small blots, they go a long way. I personally love the tackiness it gets when it's close to drying, making it easy to create extra designs and brush strokes. The drying process is a breeze not too fast or too slow for me. The colors also blend pretty easily with not many issues, but the lighter colors are a bit difficult to blend with darker pigments. I recommend ordering both sets to help avoid manual mixing, the only color I've had to manually create is a sort of purple. I ordered these to assist in completing paintings for 3 upcoming arts shows, really glad I chose these, I will be purchasing again. I absolutely recommend this product for beginners, hobbyist, and professionals. Two day shipping was a breeze, everything came looking pristine.

All I can say is WOW!!!!!This is such an outstanding paint product. I was unfamiliar with the brand Color Technik, but bought the paints because they are also a fabric paint.What a great paint! I am delighted with it. I need to include photos, and will get around to that ASAP.The pigments are the strongest I have EVER used. A wee little dab and some water goes a long, long way. I talking about only needing a 2mm bead of the paint plus water produces lovely paint. The colors are very blendable and smooth.I like the fact that I can thin out a bead of paint so that it becomes like watercolor paints.Everything about Color Technik acrylic paints is simply outstanding. This is a wonderful purchase. I highly recommend this set of paints.

I’m very satisfied with this paint. I thought they were similar to those craft paints that I bought from the craft stores- dull and lacking in pigmentations. Actually I put this on my wish list for my parents to buy for my class. I was very surprised because it made me happy teaching the kids how to paint. The colors are so vivid and alive! I’m also an artist and in quest of paints that will work with me. That’s why I ordered my second set. The only thing Is that I got the set with more tertiary colors. I prefer the set I got for my class as I do landscapes and portraits. All in all, this is a surprisingly good set of paint. Btw, I use water to thin it. So it lasts for a long time!

I knew these would not be artist quality paints...I was looking for some new colors to use for pouring. The pigments in these paints are pretty strong...they stay fairly bold when broken down with pouring mediums. But, it was difficult to get them mixed in with the mediums. It took a lot of stirring and shaking to get them fully incorporated into the mediums. There is a bright side to this! Since they are harder to mix, they stayed separated better when poured and allowed me to make some really nice tree ring pieces. The color variety is interesting...some cool colors for sure. I wish they had more than 18 colors and that they were available in a larger sizes. **Hint-Hint Seller**I also tried using them as regular paint on canvas...I can't say that I was super impressed. Although they are very thick, most of the colors spread rather thin and require multiple coats to achieve decent opacity. So I'll stick to using them for pouring...and hope the larger size becomes a reality to make them more cost effective.

These are by far my favorite paints so far, I am a beginner and have tried a few different one's and these really hold the pigment and are a nice paint to use. They go on nice and smooth and the colors are true to what you receive. I wanted to buy them again, but Amazon did not have them - so I am hoping they restock so I can buy a new batch :)

I ordered this set for my daughter and I to use for online "virtual painting" classes during the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic. We are not professional artists by any stretch, but I wanted something that was better than the cheap paint sets marketed towards kids. This set exceeded my expectations. The paint is thick, the colors are vibrant, and we loved the variety of colors. The box is also very sturdy and can be used for storage.

Lovely thick heavy colors. Takes a bit of effort to get all of the paint out of the bottle, because it's so thick! I got as much out as I could with a palette knife then put about two teaspoons of floetrol in the bottle and shook it up, seemed to get most of what was left that way. Mixes up wonderfully, the pigment stays true even when diluted for pouring. I've mixed the veridian and the Prussian blue so far, beautiful and vibrant.

These are excellent. In fact I went back to buy another set and Amazon was sold out. Great texture while using on both wood and canvas so far. Nice bright colors, with a pretty decent variety. I even liked the little box they came in, I still use it. Paints came on time, and were securely packaged.

One has leaked but this paint is thick love it 😊 will definitely buy again
