Hobbs Heirloom Cotton Scrim (Craft Piece), Wool Blends, White

I do a lot of crafting and needed some batting for a cushion I was making, having never used batting before I really didn’t know what I was buying, This was perfect for my needs , very soft but sturdy , easy to work with and will definitely order this again 😊

This is good for crafting, good price too

I've used almost my whole pack on various projects and find it very easy to place and see. I marked it down a star because I thought it was 100% cotton when I ordered it. In trying to be more sustainable in my crafting. When I tried to iron out the crease left by the packing and shipping process my wadding melted a little which I didn't expect. Is still buy it again, but at least In aware now.

I have used this wadding/Batting before from this company, so there was no hesitation to order it again. I make fabric tablemats, and so have them lined with this wadding. Washes superbly, no loss of shape. Irons well. Superb. Highly recommend.

I used this to make oven mittens to add more protection. Very good quality and easy to handle. I bought two and simply zig-zag stitched the excess batting to the second one and made a second pair of oven mittens. Worked perfectly and made no difference to the mittens. Will definitely buy again.

Hobbs Cotton Scrim is the best wadding for quilting , thin , therefore able to pass more easily under the sewing machine foot and less likely to cause the fabric to bunch. The thinness does not affect the cosy properties of the finished quilt.Additionally washing is somewhat easier as I fit a double quilt easily into my domestic washing machine. Will buy again as I won't use any other wadding !

Item arrived in safe and great packaging within expected time. my purchase was suggested on You Tube, however I must have ordered the wrong thing, I thought I was buying felt to make dolls, when it arrived I realised immediately this item is for batting on quilts, it was quite a small amount for quite a lot of money. I used the item on one of my quilted projects. I love the vintage packaging. would be perfect for its designed project but very expensive and hard to make a return on my not so expensive handmade products.
