Great product with positive results.
This was perfect to eradicate our leather jackets. Our grass had turned to mud and we could even hear the noises of them feeding! After reading the reviews of the Nematodes we decided to give it a go. We stored them in the fridge as it stated in the instructions until we were ready to use them. The instructions are clear and concise on when and how to use the Nematodes but please make sure you read them to apply the correct dosage. Within a couple of weeks we noticed a difference in the grass. Usually, during a wet period we could see the leather jackets all over our patio. After the 2 weeks there was no sign of them any more and a marked improvement in the lawn. Our lawn is now back to its old condition again and we will certainly use this product again if we discover the same problem.

Easy to apply
Well I've used these and there are still signs of the little critters ..so not sure if you have to reapply every year. Initially it cured the problem. Easy to apply. Recommended.

It works when instructions are followed correctly
It tools what was a huge patch of dead grass and revived it, only downside is there’s still a few smaller patches that didn’t recover. Probably needs more treatment

Great product and easy to use.
The item worked as described. It was easy to use, and haven’t seen anymore leather jackets since putting the treatment down. It is better used very early in the year when there is often lots of rain as the ground needs to remain damp for the treatment to work. I will be re ordering in autumn time to do a second treatment as it is often in the autumn time when the crane flys lay the eggs. Fantastic product

Quite difficult to use but definitely works.
I had a 'worst case' type situation with leatherjackets in my new-build back garden. The grass was *entirely* eaten away by the time I learned it was probably an infestation of some kind; when I scraped the remaining moss with a hand rake, not only did it come up easily, it revealed a veritable hoard of leatherjackets. The ground was filthy with them i.e. approx. 10 grubs revealed with every foot-and-a-half of soil raked, and the soil had a rotten stench.I raked off the last remnants of moss and then treated the soil as directed. It was tempting to just use guess work on the amount of powder to water because the instructions are quite exacting but given that I had a bad infestation I decided to stick to the letter of the instructions and applied it exactly. I watered the soil every day religiously as directed for the next four weeks (boy was I glad to get it over with) and then waited. In the meantime I sprinkled a little grass seed down and this sprang up quickly but I decided to pull it all up just to be as sure as I could that the leatherjackets were all gone before I attempted growing a new lawn because if they weren't all destroyed, the remainder would just attack the new grass and they'd be especially hungry too. So I waited a couple of months longer.I bought another packet of Nemasys ready for Aug. and am now preparing the ground to use this. Although it's not actually necessary, I want to turn the soil over to remove stones to give the new lawn the best chance to grow given that the grass I had was turf and the soil that came with that looks to have been eradicated. In turning over the soil, I have found hardly any leatherjackets. I would estimate that 98% have been killed, unearthing just three or four in several feet of digging. In short, the product works but, as it states, it can take several months to fix the problem (and you will want to be sure because leatherjackets that turn into craneflies return to the same breeding ground to lay *their* eggs).

Restoration of my lawn. Brilliant!
This product works brilliantly! My lawn looked ruined but two treatments has restored it. We regularly have a firm in to treat our lawns. They said they couldn't help until October; I would have had no lawn left! I can highly recommend this product. Fifty million Nematodes (I didn't count them). Isn't Nature wonderful! Thank you.
