The Saki Luna kettle is amazing. Admittedly this is my first electric water kettle coming from traditional stove top kettles. The ability to heat water quickly then maintain a precise temperature is fantastic. The simple ergonomic design is comfortable and balanced to hold easy to clean. Best of all nothing but high quality stainless steel touches the contents. Only time will tell if it lasts but I hope to get many years of use from this appliance. Highly recommended.

I frequently buy on Amazon, and rarely have the time or inclination to write product reviews. But every now and then something I buy will really grab my attention and merits letting other customers know about it. This SAKI Luna Electric Kettle happens to be one of those attention grabbers.I’ve noticed a growing trend with electric kettles where customers are seeking better temperature control, and manufacturers are obliging that demand. And being an everyday coffee and tea drinker, I fit into that customer category needing wider temperature options. So when I discovered this SAKI Luna model, (AND have had great experience with a number of SAKI’s other products), I was thrilled to get my hands on this one.First of all, when you unbox the kettle and unwrap it from its protective covering, etc., you’ll notice this is a very well made, classy looking device. It has a really nice design; simple yet elegant, and the finish on it looks like it’ll serve many good years if maintained. As for the construction, I really like that it’s stainless steel inside, has a nice thick insulating wall, and the kettle itself has no plastic contacting the heated water. And the handle has a nice rubber grip that looks and feels good. (It ensures a safe, solid gripping surface avoiding a burn, when pouring your hot water.)Then there’s the multiple temperature options controlled with the power base. You can get specific temperature settings for green tea, oolong, black tea, herbal tea, coffee and just plain full boil. It’s easy to operate and set temps - you have complete manual control over the pre-sets and it heats your water quickly!You can find a lot of cheaper, middle of the road electric kettles here on Amazon. But if you’re looking for a high quality, reliable long term durable kitchen appliance, you’ll find that in this one. SAKI even offers a 1-year warranty on the kettle, which in itself says something to me about the company backing up its products. But if you register the kettle soon after getting it, they’ll extend the warranty even further out.In summary, if you’re looking for a practical, visually aesthetic tool in your kitchen appliance lineup, I feel you can’t go wrong with this kettle. I’m very happy with it, and I believe most others who purchase one will likely draw the same conclusion with it as I have.

I am a bit of a coffee fanatic and am picky about how I brew my coffee and what equipment I use. Everyone has their preferred brewing methods, but I have always loved the strong, full-bodied flavor that comes from immersion brewing methods. We typically use an AeroPress or a French press for coffee brewing, and I like being able to control the temperature of the water depending on brewing device and type of beans. I've been using an older stainless steel and plastic kettle for years and have been looking for a replacement that meets some basic requirements that I'm picky about. This kettle meets all of those needs and more for me!LOVE:-Precise temperature control-Large Capacity for our big french press and other applications like making pasta-Looks nice on the counter and matches the aesthetic of my other coffee gadgets-Holds the temperature for you and remembers the last one you used before turning off-It beeps when ready, but is just the right tone and volume (not loud and obnoxious like my old kettle)...you can turn the beeps off as well, which is great.-No plastic components come in contact with your water-Has presets for different types of tea and coffee.-Heats water fastThis thing looks STUNNING on my counter...I posted a picture, but it doesn't do it justice. It really is a nice looking kettle. The red glowing LED ring that lights up when it is heating is really cool looking too!It's also a more reasonable price than other competing options and has more capacity than similarly-styled models from other brands. I love that (due to it's size and features) this kettle is so versatile for us. With this one device, we can boil water for cooking, make coffee, and brew tea.This really is a wonderful product. It's thoughtfully designed and looks amazing. Whether you're a coffee or tea enthusiast, or just like the convenience of an electric kettle, you can't go wrong with this one.

Not going to lie, this might be my biggest disappointment in 20+ years of online shopping. The kettle looks great and I was super excited to have an all-metal unit and one not made in China, etc. So, I filled it to max for the first of two boils as per instructions and it got about half-way through, let our some kind of weird little puffs at the base, and is now landfill. The base still works, but it will not boil even one degree. I'm sure it's a great product, but I'm too far away to bother with an exchange. Better luck to others. Oh, and as some reviews mentioned, that cord is so stiff it's problematic.
