Dont buy!!
honestly this board has terrible layout its BIOS is absolutely horrid wifi antennas brake instantly doesn't fit in barely any good cases only real reason to buy this motherboard is because it looks good go with the asus x99 deluxe ii motherboard instead its a much better layout plus the BIOS is asus which they know how to design them this board to me gets at most a 4/10 purchasers beware...

Stable extreme high end Broadwell E base for a high end build.
Got this on the January sale for 40% off. Resulted in my retiring my Sandy Lake E 3930k build and upgrading to Broadwell E. I am running a 6800k overclocked to 4.2 ghz at 1.4v with custom EKWB water cooling loops. 64 GB GSkill RAM running at DDR4 3400 cas 15. I have a poor chip it seems. I can push it to 4.4 ghz at 1.5v but temps hit over 90C quickly on OCCT or Prime95 even with a massive EKWB 360 60 mm radiator. The Broadwell E chips are poor overclockers unlike the Sandy Lake E chips. I am upgrading to 960 mm of radiator space on my loop and will retry the 1.4 ghz-1.5 ghz push. However this is a true manifest for the board that it can support high voltages and speeds, and with 64 GB of memory also overclocked to high speeds. I read the Broadwell E has very good Integrated Memory Controller performance. This is an awesome board and very lucky to have snagged it at $330. Running a Samsung 960 Pro nvme ssd. The LED lights look really awesome. Killer 1535 wifi connects at full 867 Mbps speeds. Bluetooth works as expected. Numerous BIOS options to overclock. I stay way from the auto overclock options, prefer manually fine tuning my overclocks. MSI software comes with a Ramdisk creation option. The MSI dragon on the south bridge looks very cool, I have paired this with a MSI GTX 1080 EK water-cooled GPU and the dragons look nice. If using high memory capacities increase the memory controller voltage. With GSkill 64 GB DDR4 3200 CL4 kits you have headroom up to 1.5v per GSkil to overclock or lower timings.I will upgrade to the 6950X once prices are realistic or when the next gen chips come out and these come out on eBay for half of what they cost new. Will be a nice complement to this high end board (of course the newest chip will be the next to to drool at).Summary: Buy this, you will not regret.

No se si la placa base, ese modelo en concreto esta defectuosa no arranca de ninguna forma almenos con el procesador que tengo que no arranco, no se si hay q actualizar la bios, pero con esta placa dificil de actualizar sin el pc encendido, aun asi muy descontento el producto venia manipulado ya usado, y la caja rota del embalaje.

Ich rate vom Kauf ab
Wenn es funktioniert, dann echt super.Leider funktioniert es nur manchmal, oft erkennt es keinen RAM und hängt im boot für ca. 3 Stunden fest (ob man es dabei CMOS reseted oder an/aus macht ist egal). Beim wechseln vom BIOS A zu B hat mein Board entschieden einfach beide zu löschen. Der Support, welchen ich wegen dem BIOS Problem und dem Post 55 (RAM Probleme) angeschrieben habe, antwortet nur sehr langsam und oft in Floskeln.Lieber ein Board von einem anderen Hersteller, oder ein preiswerteres von MSI kaufen.

Nel primo slot pci_e messo con la scheda video non li vede funzionano solo altri slot! Preciso che la mia scheda video è gtx 1080 ti. È strano.
