The Scandinavian Home: Interiors inspired by light

Had seen the author's post on pintrest so bought her book. Nice . The only thing is these books make you want to start decorating again even when you have just done it !

Bought as a gift for someone who is an interior designer, and they really enjoyed looking through it, and getting some ideas for future use.

I enjoyed this book. I love light so was very interested in the format. Lots of nice pics and details and a book I will dip in and out of. I really like Niki Brantmarks My Scandanavian Home blog ,so this was sure to be a winner. I love Lagom and the Pastoral one too.

Beautifully presented, a lovely evening read with a glass of wine and some candles. I only wish there were more homes featured!

Fantastic pictures and loads of inspiration

Thought the interiors were quite ordinary and I had seen many similar ones in magazines. So not as cutting edge as I had expected.

Spent Sunday morning poring over my copy of The Scandinavian Home with a cup of tea and have come away thoroughly inspired to make changes at home. Beautifully written and superbly photographed, I’ve already recommended this to all of my friends and family!

The book is great! However I think this will be the last coffee table book I’ll buy from amazon. It is put in a box without any protection so it slides around in shipment and the corners are damaged when you get it. It’s has happened a few times now and would rather pay a bit more and get a book in good condition elsewhere. Regular books it’s fine but kills the vibe of having a coffee table book!

Très beau livre Papier glacé De bonnes idées

I am really happy I bought this book. The whole book, from cover to cover, shows beautiful homes and interiors, all in the simple minimalist Scandinavian style. There is a consistency in this book which you don't find in some other decorating books where they show a few nice homes and the rest is made up with crazy stuff, just to fill the pages. Not in this book. Each home shown is similar in style and gives good ideas how to decorate your home without breaking the bank. This book, together with Kinfolk Home and Surf Shack, are my favorite books.
