I'm impressed by it's compact build plus it has everything you need in the box including fixtures and mx-4 thermal paste everything your cpu needs. The box says the fx8350 runs at 38c full load with this so I imagine it will handle the quad core with ease. I haven't tried it yet because I'm waiting for other components. This is the 3 pipe version you can spend a tenner more and get a 4 heatpipe variation on a theme there's always one better but I reckon this unbeatable for the price.My board has just arrived and I found this to be the simplest intallation of a heatsink ever just replace the board mounts with the ones provided, 4 screws one in each corner and 2 screws to secure the heatsink, simple as pie a far departure the old clippy style things the last heatpipe array I had on a p4 was massive and a total pia as the fins blocked access to everything. This is so compact that even the fan doesn't block access to the dimm slots. They thought of everything basically so it's no sweat.Ok so installed on my fx4350 cpuid hw moniter says my cpu is 37c and the 3 package temperatures that say 18c 15c 21c dunno what it means exactly but compared in open hardware monitor to my old cpu the same reading reckons my cpu is running at 15c. So I'm browsing the web listening to music running an ipod and a few apps in the background. To my mind, awesome coolness. The bios says it's 34c. Anyway I just turned tomb raider up to ultimate and the cpu temp is steady at thirty something.I just woke up my pc from hibernation and the package temps on the cpu are fluctuating between 2c and 9c 2c and 9c and the 3rd is steady at 20c. The cpu temp in cpuid hwmonitor is 30-32c running windows and web browsing with apps in the background and the mainboard temp is 28c.I am using a 12 year old atx chassis that I first used with a k6-2 500 atx board, a p3 733, a p4 northwood or whatever it was, that admittedly lacks a dust filter or some of the better features with front facing ports and card readers but I've fixed that with a purchase of a 5.25 bay reader. Reason being that this chassis has got 4x 5.25 bays where modern ones, although dust proof etc. have only got one or two 5.25 bays. Dunno what people are talking about fussing with air flow and the rest of it. What matters primarily is the surface area of your heatsink and the weight of metal. The air flow is important but secondary imo. Ambient temperature is also very important as heat flows from hi--->lo concentration of energy. The warmer the ambient temp the less energy will flow into the environment from the area of high concentration eg. the chip package & core. Think how you would run a pc in a desert where the ambient temperature is over 45c? Exactly. You would have to liquicool it.So to run really cool keep your central heating down and the air crisp. I have rested the stock am3+ cooler on the side & I may stick it down with the last dregs of my thermal epoxy. I could also stick any and all spare heatsinks to it's sides just to increase the surface area and weight. Think of the metal like a sponge soaking up the heat. The bigger the sponge the more energy it will carry away. The screw fittings will support a bit extra heavyness.

Impressive! After a bit of an upgrade splurge readying my M3a78-Pro MoBo and AM2 socket AMD 64 X2 5200+ based system for Windows 10, I decided to replace the ageing stock cooler. This was a fairly easy fit and instantly yielded positive benefits. I was so impressed with the lack of noise of this fan that I bought an 80mm one to use as an exhaust fan in the case. Using "Speedfan" freeware I've now throttled both fans (CPU & case) back to a maximum 65% and they are inaudible. at 70% they can be heard - just - in a silent room.CPU core temps are maxing at 38-39 deg C even after a hefty session of Nikon ViewNX2 photo editing and a spot of YouTube video.Notable that on this MoBo, although close to the memory slots, there was still space to orient the unit with the fan blowing in the direction of the back panel, and as a result the warm air from this cooler is delivered directly to the exhaust fan on the back of the box. Cracking purchase. Genuinely dropped under-load CPU core temps by 10 degs over the stock cooler.

This is a high quality cooler, well designed and easy to install..Some observations of mine during the fitting1-dont put too much pressure on the screwdriver when assembling the two brackets, supporting the underside with your hand is a good idea.I pushed too hard and the clip assembly became detached from the copper pipes, but was easily clicked back into place2-the sachet of thermal paste is ‘ just’ enough to give 3 thin horizontal stripes across the copper tube3-remove the fan, unclips easily3-I found it best to plug the fan in to the motherboard before fitting the cooler, as it can be difficult after, depending on the location of the socket on the motherboard4-four plastic spacers are provided to sit between the motherboard and the clips, line up the screws before applying any pressure as it could force off the plate on the underside of the motherboard, luckily on my case I have access to the rear of the motherboard at this point...Very pleased, bought two for my sons pc and my own, never fitted a new cooler before, but was not that difficult..

Wow, what a cooler!Build quality is great, nice and clear copper pipe base that sit directly on the CPU.I'm using this on an AM3+ socket, it was a snug fit but not too hard to install. I had trouble with the packet of thermal paste (like a sachet packet) it was a mess to apply. So I used my Arctic Silver 5 instead (which comes in a syringe).Temps idle now : 15 deg to 25 deg, on max use 30 degrees with an FX-6300 Six-core Bulldog.Oh, did I mention that it is virtually silent? Literally quieter than the HDD spin/clicks.

simply better because the temps have lowered on idle at least 3 degrees and avg 5 degrees, and sometimes 7 degrees C .also highest temps i have achieved were 42 ! whereas with my previous they have gone to 58 with some freezing..it doesnt look as cool and aesthetic and also it was a complete fiddle to get it to fit, and as a result the thermal paste became rather spread out and mushed up but it works so I am glad and no cpu fan errors.you need to angle your screwdriver and the fan JUST about fit over my ram modules which are above standard height, by about 2-4mm haha.So either its a good design or the thermal paste is second to none, in any case its a result for me and we all know how difficult these desktop antics can be.

als ich herausgefunden hatte, dass dieser Lüfter semipassiv ausgelegt ist. Das bedeutet: er ist nicht zu hören im Idle, weil er nicht läuft. Enorme Kühlleistung schon ohne Propeller. Wenn der sich irgendwann einschaltet, ist er allerdings unüberhörbar - und da sitzt eine kleine Enttäuschung: das kannte ich von Arctic bisher nicht. Alle Kühler, die ich von Arctic verbaut habe, waren aktiv und auch unter Last praktisch nicht zu hören.Ich verwende ihn für einen fx-6100 (AM3+) und den kühlt er überwiegend passiv. Wird der Proz. zu warm, springt der Propeller - leider - recht lautstark an. Nach etwa 1 Minute geht er dann wieder aus. Und das so alle 10 Minuten. Ist manchmal ein wenig nervig. Ein ständig langsam laufender Propeller, der den Proz. gar nicht erst richtig warm werden lässt, wäre mir lieber... Das habe ich trotz optimierter Einstellungen im BIOS (Zieltemperatur, Lüfterstufe etc.) mit diesem Teil hier nicht hinbekommen. Daher ein Stern Abzug.

Acquistato per sostituire il vecchio dissipatore stock AMD su un FX6300 che nei videogame più pesanti raggiungeva temperature estremamente alte, rilevate sugli 80 gradi e più.Installazione relativamente facile (bisogna smontare dalla scheda madre la cornice di plastica nera che sta intorno al socket e riutilizzare le viti), la pasta termica è compresa (il necessario per una applicazione). Il cavetto della ventola è rivestito, cosa non necessaria ma apprezzata.A livello di performance si comporta benissimo, gli stessi giochi che mandavano la CPU a temperature stellari adesso girano col processore che non supera i 50 gradi, anche quando si hanno carichi molto alti e al tempo stesso il pc rimane molto silenzioso.

Ich war auf der Suche nach einem günstigen Kühler für meinen zweit PC, da der originale verloren ging.Der Preis sollte sich in Grenzen halten, aber Kühlleistung sollte dennoch vorhanden sein.Gekühlt wird ein AMD FX 4100 übertaktet auf 4,0 GHZ.Unter Last erreicht die CPU gerade einmal 47 Grad Celsius, was fast unglaublich ist.Die Geräuschkulisse hält sich sehr in Grenzen.Meine 560 TI übertönt den Kühler beim Spielen um einiges.Wer also auf der Suche nach einem günstigen Kühler ist sollte hier zuschlagen. Preis / Leistung ist überragend. Seid aber nicht zu sparsam mit der Wärmeleitpaste! Tragt auf alle 3 Heatpipes schmale Streifen auf!

Ich bestellte diesen Artikem für mein am3+ prozessor als Verbesserung zu dem on board lüfter.Leider sind auf meinem mainboard keine Gewindehülsen aus Metall verbaut, stattdessen Presshülsen auf Kunststoff was bei der Montage einiges am Improvisation mit Drehmel und Feile verlangte. Schließlich war die Kontaktfläche CPU/ Kühlschlangen mit ausreichendem Anpressdruck und Wärmeleitpaste montiert. Bei der Montage fiel mir auf, das maximal 2/3 der CPU Oberfläche überhaupt Kontakt mit dem Kühlkörper haben (Prozessor zu groß bzw. Fläche Kühlschlangen zu klein) . Im BIOS wurde mir direkt nach dem Start ohne Last eine Temperatur von 73 C° angezeigt, trotz Lüfterdrehzahl von ca. 1600 rpm. Der Rechner fuhr 30 sek. später runter. Dies erlebte ich so 5x hintereinander. Nach Montage on board Lüfter, Temperatur bei 43C° konstant ohne Last.Leider direkt eine Retoure.....

Intendiamoci subito, non pretendiamo di dissipare watt a gogo....ogni dissipatore ha il suo target, e questo nel suo và alla grande, silenzioso anche quando in funzione a regimi un pò più elevati (fanless fino ad una soglia di temperatura), chiaramente se spinto i decibel si alzano, ma allora non è nel suo utilizzo più appropiato. Per il costo, decisamente una validissima alternativa al dissi di fabbrica.

Lieferung ging sehr und dann sofort eingebaut, das Positive beim eunbau war ich musste das Mainboard nicht herausnehmen und das einbauen ging sehr schnell von der Hand. Aber ich muss sagen die Anleitung ist zum teil Muell, ich konnte nicht sagen was das auf dem ersten Bild sein soll. Ich habe rum spekuliert aber keine ahnung. Dann habe ich es ohne Anleitung versucht und es ging besser. Das Gestell war drauf nur die WLP musste noch aufgetragen werden. Die WLP ist einfach reudig wie wenig das ist. Und richtig gut kuehlen tut sie auch nicht.Der Kuehler an sich sieht sehr gut aus und kuehlt meine APU sehr gut. Die IDLE Temp lag vorher bei 60 grad und jetzt bei 50.Da ich Kingston beast rams habe die sehr gross sind kann ich den Luefter nur auf die andere Seite haben. Allem und Allem erstmal zufrieden nur kommt jetzt der langzeit test. Der Luefter ist recht ruhig auch beim Zocken

Der PC-Lüfter ist Top und kühlt sehr gut.Schade nur dass hier die Backplate zum Befestigen nicht dabei ist.Diese hatte leider bei meinem PC gefehlt, da hier ein anderes Haltesystem genutzt wurde, sodass der Austausch der Lüfters nicht so reibungslos verlief wie gehofft.Hier wäre es schön gewesen in der Beschreibung genau darauf hizuweisen "Ohne Backplate" (oder wie das Teil auch sonst heißt).Und diese Teil als einen Ergänzungsartikel anbietet.Aber ein Anruf beim Hersteller (zum Glück in DE) und mir wurde eine Backplate gg. Kostenerstattung zugeschickt. Toller Service von ARCTIC. :-)Alles in Allem = Empfehlenswert.

Habe den Kühler bestellt und er war schon EINEN TAG SPÄTER DA! War sehr gut verpackt, in einem 08/15 Amazon-Karton mit zerknülltem Packpapier als Polsterung. Installiert und schon ging es los, ziemlich leise und Teils nur passiv-aktiv am Laufen. Zur Installation -> Es wird !! KEINE ANLEITUNG MITGELIEFERT !! Was für mich aber kein Problem darstellte, zumindest kein großes. Die Brackets sind ein bisschen fummelig zu installieren, geht jedoch okay, die Schrauben um den Kühler mit den Brackets zu verschrauben müssen von unten installiert werden und die Plate die schon auf dem Kühler verbaut ist wird hier als Gewinde benutzt (Nicht wie Ich machen und probieren von oben einzuschrauben, wird nicht funktionieren!) Der restliche Einbau funktioniert ziemlich geschmiert. 1-Stern abzug weil nur ein kleines lausiges Päckchen Wärmeleitpaste mitgeschickt wird, welches definitiv nur für einen einmaligen Einbau in einen PC langt und somit der Kühler nicht in ein neues System übertragen werden kann ohne sich neue Leitpaste zu holen. Dazu kommt dass die Heatpipes und der Kühlblock nicht groß genug für die CPU sind und man deswegen darauf achten muss wie man den Kühler anbringt. Einen Tipp dazu von mir: Tragt die Wärmeleitpaste in einem ca 2cm langen Strich PARALLEL zur AMD Schrift auf, denn in dieser Richtung sind auch die Chips auf der CPU platziert.Alles in allem ein ziemlich gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ob für 17€ normal gekauft oder 9,95€ über Amazon Prime.

Ottimo dissipatore, montato su un processore AMD A10, è molto più silenzioso ed efficace del dissipatore stock. Il montaggio è stato abbastanza facile, le istruzioni sono chiare. L'unico problema è che mi da in avvio CPU FAN ERROR sebbene la ventola giri regolarmente e la temperatura sia assolutamente sotto controllo (mai oltre 50° anche sotto stress). Per risolvere ho dovuto impostare l'opzione “Ignora” sulla voce "CPU FAN Speed" nel BIOS.

Der Kühler sollte in einem ITX-System zum Einsatz kommen, da hier eher wenig Platz für ausladende Konstruktionen bot. Das Kühlsystem ist wie von Arctic gewohnt solide verarbeitet, alles passt wie es soll und auch die Kühlleistung überzeugt.Leider kam der Kühler im ursprünglich geplanten System nicht zum Einsatz, da er sich nicht für die Montage auf meinem Mainboard eignete (fehlende Halterungen). Daher nur 4/5 Sternen. Bitte beachtet vor dem Kauf, dass das Mainboard über eine Backplate zur Kühlermontage verfügen muss!!!

Avevo la ventola Stock su un AMD FX 8530 da 4ghz, il casino era tremendo...con questo dissipatore e ventola ho risolto il problema, totalmente silenziosa, temperatura in idle di ben 8/10 gradi in meno., Molto facile da montare, anche per chi non è esperto. Ottimo acquisto e prezzo molto conveniente.

This little guy is an interesting one. I bought it for an AM2 CPU, and I had to remove the plastic in which the regular fans clip onto, then had to mount it directly to the board in its stead.Since the board was already mounted in the case, this was a pain to do.But, once assembled, ran well, quiet and cool.My 3 stars is for the assembly, not the product, were it not for the assembly, I'd give it 5

Hallo zusammen!Mein Rechner (AMD Athlon II X4 645, 4x3100 MHz, 16gb 1333mhz ram, 650w Silent Pro Netzteil,NviDia Geforce Gt 630 4gb ddr3, 1x 120mm und 2x 92mm Gehäuselüfter ebenfalls Arctic) kommt jetzt nicht mehr ins schwitzen, selbst bei einem Übertakten auf 3700 MHz ;-)Preis Leistung ist beim A11 mehr als zufriedenstellend! Laut diversen Programmen zum auslesen der Temperatur und zum Auslasten des Rechners auf 100%Leistung kommt die CPU nicht über 51 Grad Celsius drüber. Von der Lautstärke her kann man auch nicht meckern. Um einiges leiser als der original Lüfter, auch bei voller Auslastung des Systems. Ich sags von vorn herein, die Produkte von Arctic kann man immer bedenkenlos kaufen. Der einzige Mangel war, daß keine Wärmeleitpaste voraufgetragen war, sondern eine kleine, aber völlig ausreichende Spritze MX 2 dabei war. Ich finde aber, das kann man ohne Abzug von Sternchen verkraften :-)

Der Freezer A11 ist bei mir in einem Media-Server verbaut und kühlt hier zuverlässig eine AMD A6-APU. Der Einbau geht mithilfe der beigelegten Anleitung sehr schnell von Hand, die beigelegte Backplate ist schnell verbaut (ohne das Mainboard auszubauen, meistens reicht hier das Abnehmen der Gehäuseabdeckung).Jedoch muss man darauf achten, wie man den Lüfter im Gehäuse ausrichtet. Der montierte Fan zieht die Luft an und pumpt diese auf die Kühlrippen, hier muss man beachten, dass der Kühlerlüfter sich nicht mit dem hinteren Gehäuselüfter um die Luft prügelt. Lösung: Den Kühler so einbauen, dass die Frischluft über den RAM angesogen wird.Einen Vergleich zum Boxed-Lüfter muss m.E. nicht durchgeführt werden, der Freezer ist wesentlich leiser und kühlt besser. Für den Preis definitiv unschlagbar.
