Seems like a good solid product
Fairly easy to fit but the nuts were close to the case and only just accessible with my socket. Bolts probably adequate but as the safe is made in China, the bolts probably are as well. This bothers me because in my experience of cheap imported fittings, they can break off easily. Just be careful not to overtighten. I like the 12 buttons; better security than the 10 button key safes. Also good that the code is 'zeroed' when the front is removed and has to re-entered when replacing the front panel. This ensures that the panel can't be replaced without zeroing the code in the process. Otherwise, would be too easy to forget and to leave insecure.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT! Any problems, you will be nearly £30 out of pocket with no redress.
I had purchased this keysafe and typically just outside the warranty period the buttons stopped working meaning we had to force the front off to access the spare key inside. I explained all this to the seller and got some pretty unbelievable emails back e.g 'It is your prerogative to take matters further ..a certified independent report will be required (under the Sale of Goods Act the BUYER has to provide that proof after 6 months old, it would have to prove that it was a manufacturing fault and that it was not due to wear or conditions such as weather etc) .Astonishing response and complete breach of customer service rights. Under the Sale of Goods Act it states: 'Goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose'. The keysafe is not "fit for purpose" and the seller complete unconcerned about charging almost £30 for an item that developed a defect and as a bare minimum would not even replace! I fail to see the audacious claim about this being a "new improved model", unfortunately I spotted the 'Made in China' internal stamp just a little too late..What the seller also fails to address is that consumers are entitled to get repairs/refunds/replacements on faulty goods up to six years after they have purchased them. Many, including Digital Technology UK are denying any responsibility for helping customers once a product is outside its official warranty which is wrong under consumer laws. I guess the seller thought he was so smart in challenging me to get a 'specialist independent report' which would cost more than the keysafe, more than anything I am utterly disappointed in the attitude to treat customers so disrespectfully.Take it from me having learned the hard way, I wouldn't touch this company or its products with a barge pole!! They don't deserve your goodwill & custom when they completely leg you over if an issue arises!

Strong and Sturdy
Pleased with the product, very tough and easy to put up but did have two criticisms.Firstly I wish the description had mentioned that you can only use each number once - with elderly people they often have a very set passcode in mind. Secondly it is a pity that the front piece which you take off isn't hinged to make replacing it easier. All the same I do think it is a very good product.

Ours has a rubber cover to keep the weather out and incredibly it looks like new. Reliable and sturdy product
We purchased this item years ago from Amazon and it has been installed in all that time. It is not used very often - we just check it annually to ensure everything is still working - which it is. If we ever lose our keys, we know we can always gain access. It's a very solidly built item and my Mother had one installed for years to allow carers to gain access to her property. Ours has a rubber cover to keep the weather out and incredibly it looks like new. Reliable and sturdy product.

not so secure key guard
An urgent need for key guard to enable quick help for my disabled wife in my absence led me make this purchase. My heart sank when I opened it all up and found the fixing to be apparently very flimsy.Still, ''They'' must know what they are doing so I proceeded to fix the key guard in position.First problem was that they specify 8mm socket spanner needed, No, a 7mm socket is needed I find. Then finally all is ready and I mark and drill the holes in the brickwork. Problem, the bolt itself does nothold in the wall plug, it just keeps pulling through as I tighten it so no fixing on 2 of the 3 bolts. The 3rd boltseems to hold then it just rotates in the plug so it is only just holding the safe body to the wall.It seems that thespecified size of masonry drill is again too large. The photo shown when looking to purchase does show a much superiorrawbolt type than the cheap rubbish supplied. Obviously I cannot return this product now and have just been out buya selection of possible fixings to try to finish the job which is urgent. In a nutshell DON'T BUY THIS look for a better keysafe, the extra price will better than all this aggravation.

Not quite what I was expecting and tricky to fit
I must admit that I had assumed that this was a *combination* safe but that turned out not to be the case.To be fair the product is not advertised as a combination lock but I think most people would assume it is.Having exchange emails with the seller, I gained confidence that the security of this product is actually very good.Having said that, I think that the instructions for fitting could do with improvement because they ...a) contain a mistake which ultimately made fitting the safe a lot more difficult for me andb) are not detailed enough in my opinion. The "mistake" relates to the instruction to hold the backplate against the wall and then push the bolts through the into the holes that you have drilled. The bolts simply do not fit through the holes in the template. I tried forcing the first one which resulted in the bolt casing bending. The bolt and casing need to be inserted into the drill holes, leaving the screw thread exposed *before* you put the backplate against the wall. The trouble with this though is that the bolts need tapping home with a hammer (per instructions) and this had the effect of messing up the thread on the bolt and making it difficult to attach the nut.I'm reasonably proficient at DIY so I found the whole exercise rather frustrating.Overall, I think it's a good product but please bear in mind my notes re fitting above.
