I bought this during lockdown when I couldn't go for threading. I haven't gone back to threading and use this instead - I have just bought another one.

The spring came away from one side, and the spring itself isn't sturdy enough, it wobbles during use. The razor is ok but not brilliant

I am a woman of a certain age and although not particularly hairy I have become aware of a blond moustache developing as well as a delicate blonde fuzz over my cheeks. I have been to a threader which worked well but was expensive and occasionally grazed my skin and left me with light stabbing - not a good look. I have used wax strips but they left red marks and I have bought the teeny little razors which gave me spots. I also used to tweeze my moustache but as I have got older that job is like painting the Forth Bridge.This thing is great. It takes a bit of practice particularly round the upper lip area but as I have got the hang of it my skin looks better and better. I keep it by my bed and use it when I read at night and even when I can't see any hair, it always finds some. I don't want to be without it. I am ordering more for our holiday home and my travel bag.Because the fuzz builds up so slowly I hadn't realised how aging it was. Now I am smooth and facial hair free I think I look years younger.

I couldn’t get short hairs still needed tweezers to get them

Wow this has just arrived & I have just used it. Amazing product!!! Some reviews are saying that they cant use this I don't know why because I found this very straight forward & VERY easy to use just watched a couple of videos online before it arrived also received an email from Paul the retailer which I was given the brief instructions on how to use this epiwand. I don't want to use the razor for my face but am going to use for my hairy toes lol & fine finger hair which I have tried it works well for this purpose very pleased with also. Now getting onto how painful to use well I found it not as sore as threading. I did try it on my lip that I had wax just a couple of days ago it did get some hair but this I thought was painful so will be sticking to waxing for my lip. Overall this little simple gadget is really great if your wanting rid of facial hair I cant recommend this enough!!I wish id got this a lot sooner. Thanks very much Paul.

This arrived very quickly and well packaged. I've never used one before but the seller kindly emailed me instructions and a link to a iTunes video which was very helpful. It was a bit nippy to use but I expected that as I am new to using it. Worked amazingly well I am really delighted with the results. In the past I have bought an epilatir but that left me with lots of small bumps which was unacceptable this didn't, it was quick easy and the price was good.

This hair remover does not remove facial hair, I’ve found much cheaper ones better

I bought this after seeing the rave reviews and i have to say I am disappointed. Some reviews say it doesn't hurt like waxing or threading... I usually wax and agree it is not pleasant but at least it is over with one swift pull, this however hurts the same as waxing (my eyes were streaming) but takes much longer. So, there is no messing heating wax or softening the strips but it hurst just the same over and over as you move this across your lip and chin. My skin has still gone red like it would if I waxed so I wont be leaving the house for at least an hour. Overall, I suppose it is handy to have but i'm not blown away by it either.I don't get the eye brow thingy and there are no instructions for it so unless you are totally up on how all the beauty products work (I am obviously not) don't expect any help from the back of the pack. Others may find it a great help but I will definitely be sticking to wax and tweezers for my eye brows.

This little thing is addicting. I get weird chin hairs like crazy ever since giving birth, and I love using this to pluck them out! It gets little hairs I didn’t even see! I keep it in the bathroom next to my contact case and pick it up every night when I’m taking them out. It’s now a ritual to see how many little hairs I can pull out. The only downside is that sometimes it can be hard to target a specific hair that you see and want to get. Sometimes you have to wait a day and try again to grab it, or pull out a traditional tweezers to get just that one. But I love it anyway!

This is the first time I have tried a facial hair razor, and was nervous at first. The company sends you an email with a lot of information and further instructions.Once you get used to using it, it is great!No more waxing, creams, threading or tweezing (all things that also work for facial hair), as this is the only tool you will need.There is a slight amount of discomfort when using it---the same type of pain that you experience during waxing or tweezing.

Non metto molto spesso 5 stelle, ma se potessi ne darei anche di più! All'inizio ero scettica perché secondo alcuni video e recensioni fa malissimo o non funziona, ma visto il costo irrisorio ho voluto provare lo stesso e il mio verdetto è... che è lo strumento più economico, ecologico, efficace e meno doloroso per rimuovere i peli del viso! Chi dice che fa malissimo o che non funziona si vede che non lo usa bene o non ha mai fatto la ceretta. Considerate che, dopo le perplessità iniziali, anche mia mamma che ha 70 anni (alla quale di solito faccio io la ceretta e non senza tribolazioni) ha imparato ad usarlo e lo fa comodamente da sola mentre guarda la tv! L'azienda subito dopo l'acquisto mi ha mandato un'email con le istruzioni e il link per un video tutorial, ci vuole solo un po' di pratica per capire come funziona. All'inizio non riuscivo a strappare quasi nulla perché sbagliavo. I miei CONSIGLI sono:1. Deve essere piegato a forma di U rovesciata, più la U è stretta, meno peli prende perciò farà anche meno male, all'inizio provate così. Più la tenete aperta, più peli prende, anche quelli cortissimi e sottilissimi che io neanche vedo ad occhio nudo e quindi potrebbe farvi un po' male (ma per me è davvero poca cosa in confronto alla ceretta).2. All'inizio provate a passarla sul mento per fare pratica perché in quella zona è piuttosto indolore.3. Se non avete mai fatto la ceretta o non la fate da mesi, avrete i peli più fitti ed è probabile che vi faccia un po' male. Quando l'ho usato la prima volta avevo qualche settimana di ricrescita (non molti baffetti) e una volta capito il meccanismo era addirittura divertente farlo! A seconda dei vostri baffetti quindi, la prima volta potrebbe essere più doloroso, dopodiché basta ripassare una volta ogni tanto, in base alle vostre esigenze, per il mantenimento.4. Dovete far scivolare l'attrezzo contropelo quasi parallelo al viso (non di punta) e contemporaneamente roteare le manopole verso l'interno e così fa il suo lavoro. Non si deve acchiappare il pelo e poi tirare bruscamente l'attrezzo come con le pinzette o la ceretta.5. Se avvertite dolore, magari perché avete preso troppi peli contemporaneamente, non dovete per forza continuare a girare, potete rallentare o rilasciare l'attrezzo e riprovare.GIUDIZIO FINALE: La ceretta strappa solo i peli più evidenti e non posso passarla più di 2 volte sullo stesso punto perché mi irrita la pelle. Questo metodo invece toglie anche i peli sottili e cortissimi, con poco o zero dolore e posso passarlo quante volte voglio senza problemi e senza residui appiccicosi sulla pelle. Non ho mai avuto la zona del labbro superiore così liscia! Rimangono solo dei puntini rossi perché toglie il pelo alla radice, ma dopo qualche ora spariscono e basta rinfrescarsi con un po' d'acqua fredda. Si può portare ovunque per dei ritocchi al volo, si può fare mentre si guarda la tv anche senza lo specchio, il prezzo poi è davvero irrisorio e non dovrò più comprare altro.Se proprio devo trovare dei difetti, potrebbe non essere indicato per chi è allergico al nichel e purtroppo va bene solo per il viso.
