Good phone for elderly but cant share calls with multiple handsets
The phone is good for the elderly as all buttonbs are large and light up. Coplex manual with all its fucnctions. The problem is if you have mutiple handsests you can not ask a person in another room to pick it up as once you answer the call with the first handsets and its for someone else in the house in an other room, they cant pic it up, the phone says fixed line in use

Really good phones
These look nice and are easy to use. Unfortunately though the battery's stopped charging so well after about 10 months or so. Amazon were great, as they usually are if you ring and talk to them directly, got a refund and reordered, no issues now. I was disappointed that they had gone up in price but I am still very happy with these phones and they look nice. I would have been disappointed if I had not been able to get the same ones again. They have many useful features too, too many to list here. It's worth reading up on them if you want to know more.

I have had this model for years but, what a difference,
I have had this model for years & I thought it would be identical to my old one (, which began to malfun tion) Whar a difference, i should have realized that it would have been upgraded.but is far ore complicated, it is far more difficult to use for someone of my great age.Hence the reduced nu berof stars

Big difference from my old Gigaset
I'm elderly so it took me quiet a while to understand how the guide worked. Found the guide online and found it easier to follow step by step. Still don't know it all but enough for our needs and when I'm at a loose end I can pick the guide up online again and learn a bit more.

Good all round cordless phone
Having researched a number of options I bought this cordless phone for an elderly relative - it has a number of features (for example, SOS button, loud ring, ringer options per caller, call blocker function, etc.) which are good for the elderly.Just a couple of points of note I have found:1. It did take a little bit of time to work through the instructions to set-up and add names and numbers to the phone directory (these could not be sorted in order unless you pre-fix each name with a number). I'm not sure the set-up could be easily done by some older people. It does allow you to copy phone numbers between handsets which is useful.2. The handset programming button is the same button as the one used for the phone directory so quite often this is pressed instead of the phone directory button - separate button would help some people

Good volume!
Due to reduced hearing these are definitely better than the last two phones we’ve had.I’m not the most tolerant of reading instructions but they are reasonable compared to some others

Easy to set up and operate
Fabulous, everything I wanted in a cordless twin handset answerphone, and bought after much research. After struggling for over 10 years with my Panasonic, mainly on never being able to remember how to access messages without checking the instructions and then handsets refusing to charge properly, this is wonderful.Pros: Easy to set upAccess messages from base station or handset. Main base station shows how many messages. Press play. (easier than remembering a sequence of symbols buttons and numbers my old one required just to listen to a message!)Easy to set up handsets (up to 4)Choice of ringtone and volumesEasy to set greeting message (which I never did in over 10 years on the old one which was so counter intuitive to use!)Clear displayNice big buttonsLooks nice and smartIf an unlistened message is waiting, phone still rings proper amount of time before answerphone takes over (unlike my old one which would annoyingly take over after one ring if you had an unlistened message waiting, resulting in a frantic dash across the room to grab it before having to do battle with the answerphone to speak to the caller)Cons: only con so far is referenced in the Q&A where manual says that one handset can be registered with 4 base stations - is the other way round, 4 handsets to one base station! Despite this, the instructions to register each handset are very clear and easy to follow.
