Pleased with the purchase
I had been trying in the past to obtain at home sugaring paste, but was unsuccessful so I ordered online hoping to find the right consistency. My first purchase from Amazon was unsuccessful, I won't mention the seller here. The problem was that the paste was too sticky and could not handle the paste at all with my hands - I had to use strips. My second purchase from Amazon was the paste from Dr Séverin and I can say that I am really pleased with it. It was easy to handle with my own hands and it worked really well removing hair from my legs considering the fact that I have thick coarse hair. I heated the paste in the microwave a little bit and I took a small batch with a spatula. I applied the first layer on my leg with the spatula, but afterwards I pulled with my hand and re-used the paste with my hands. So far I tried it once and was really pleased with it.I wish they would sell bigger batches as I don't think it would last me very long time.

sticky
should come with a stick or something to apply with as it isn’t like the sugar wax you see online that comes off easily. it sticks to your fingers and your legs and the hairs. doesn’t pull many hairs off just sticks to them. and then you’re stuck with sticky leg hairs

Not as good as I thought
This is for home use. I did put this in the microwave and it gave a burning smell. It was stringy and if you have been a shaver previously, don't expect too much to come out. I paid £19.99 for this product and wont buy it again.

First bikini wax at home
Due to the lockdown I had left without any other option than trying to tackle the most painful waxing part at home.I was very worried how it will goes but this product made it super easy.I watched a couple of Youtube videos about sugar waxing, followed the instructions I saw there and although the result is not perfect, it was much easier and less painful that I anticipated. My body hair is little bit toward to the strong category and I’m going to a waxing studio for a few years now and this was my first home waxing.I highly recommended!

AVOID
Don't waste your time. I have been a beauty therapist for over 25 yrs. That's a lot of legs that I have waxed in that time. I bought this product as I want to be more eco friendly, the reviews are great. But in reality, this product only work a if you go over the area at least 3 times to get the hair out, it's the most expensive wax I have bought, and a small tub, it took three times the time and effort, for me to then have to go over with tweezers, I could not could charge my normal price, as it looked like I was incompetent.. luckily I have been doing the client for a while so she knows it wasnt my skills or lack of them!!! Im TOTALLY out of pocket. Avoid

Very impressed! It works!
Didn’t have high hopes after reading some reviews but it works for me! I’m so impressed! Don’t heat too long, use fingers to spread a good layer ( haven’t even made a dint in mine 😊) and make sure there’s plenty to get a grip of ! Spread in opposite direction of hair growth and remove in the direction of the hair growth! Love it!

It took a while to learn to use this product ...
It took a while to learn to use this product. It was very sticky and messy, but I was able to remove my arm hair successfully. It's difficult to use, though. However, with more practice, I may get the hang of it, though. It's not the easiest to use, but it does work if you figure it out. I watched loads of YouTube videos on how to use it, but it seems to vary from product. I didn't want to make it myself in case I didn't do it properly, so I figured I'd buy the first batch. I do think it was pricey - 20 pounds - for a very, very small amount. I assumed it would be a giant tub, especially because sugar wax is simply sugar, lemon juice, and water - and can be made at home.
