Better than expected
I wasn’t expecting much from this small lamp and thought it was a bit of a gimmick, but a nice present for someone who is learning with Guitar??, but didn’t have space for lots of kit. As the sound is brilliant. It comes with all the jacks and a power cable, also works off batteries. Recipient really happy with it and it’s taking it on holiday a couple of times.

A very nice little amp
A very nice little amp. Clean it is a little quiet, but that is only to expected with on one watt of output power to play with. Despite that it's a must for budding Nigel Tufnels, as the volume goes all the way up to 12 ! Dial in a little overdrive (I found a setting of about 3 or 4 plenty), and it sounds considerably louder than it does clean. The tone control does exactly what it is supposed to. Turn it one way and it increases the bass, the other and it increases the treble. Personally I found dead centre sounded best. But there is certainly scope to make it sound more bass, or treble, if that's the sound you are looking for.As a practice amp that won't annoy the neighbours, it's perfect. Although if you are really worried about disturbing the neighbours, or parents, there is a 1/4" headphone jack. I'd also suggest investing in a 9v transformer to save on batteries.

This is a fantastic little amp
This is a fantastic little amp. The green tweed matches my guitar case. It's loud enough, the overdrive (for the price) is pretty decent. And it has a headphone jack for portable private playing!Only gave it 4 stars, as the first one I ordered was faulty. But the shop replaced easy enough, so no probs.

Looks great ( five stars ) and sounds terrible ( one star )
I love the look of this amp. It sits nicely on a shelf and oozes cool, but it sounds bad. The noise floor is ridiculous. You go from no sound to no sound to not enough sound to be useful to what the hell is all that distortion. If you run it through a clean boost amp and keep the gain on minimum it sounds quite nice, if you don’t it’s god awful. Build quality is nice. It’s plastic in a tweed like wrapper, with an authentic enough cloth grill, beaky knobs on a chrome plate that have a satisfying action. It runs on a 9v battery or power adapter ( neither is included ). Despite not sounding as life changing as I’d hoped, it has a charm that made me keep it. It might become an expensive paperweight or I might eventually find a tone I like, but out of the box it’s meh at best.

Awful total junk and No power supply included
The item looks great it was delivered quickly,However there is no power cable and in the Listing It doesn't mention you need to buy your own power cable - So I now need to go out and spend approximately ten pound on a 9V power cable.UPDATE : This amplifier is absolute rubbish There is no clean tone sound whatsoever even at full volume nothing , The only way to get a sound from the amp is to turn the overdrive up. When you turn the overdrive up even a little the amplifier buzzes uncontrollably - The overdrive sound Is trully awful Nothing like the review videos on youtube. The only place this thing belongs is in the bin.POOR. 0/10

Captures the character of a vintage Fender amp
Great looks and sound for such a tiny amp. Covered in actual tweed fabric, not plastic, so creates the look of the vintage Fender. Small enough to fit on a bookcase shelf, in front of books. The sound is nice and bright, using my Squire Telecaster and Stratocaster, and the sound is good even at low volumes. Just what I wanted.

Great amp at a great price!
Bought this as a gift for my brother and although the amp is quite a bit smaller than the dimensions given, it is still a cool looking amp with a pretty good sound. This was bought just as a practice amp and you would obviously not go gigging with it or anything but the sound is very impressive - full volume we found is too loud for indoor use so it's perfect for practice or playing with other people. I never bought the mains power plug with it and just used the 9v battery instead which seems to last well. Overall, it's a really good little amp that looks great!

Worse, the volume for the lower three strings is ...
Sent it back as it is only 1 watt. (cliams 3.5 n the description) the result is an even quieter divice than expected. Worse, the volume for the lower three strings is about half that of the top three because of the extra sensitivity to trebble and the almost complete lack of response to base. Worse, it starts to distort significantly once you are at 75% of volume. So while for £35 you should not expect more than tiny, you should be able to expect it to be reasonable quality (not), and expect it to have the advertised wattage (not).
