KaspK16070D260 Padlock with hasp, 70 mm W, Set of 2 Pieces

This is the second Kasp padlock combo I have brought. The first has been in constant use for over 10 years. So I didn’t hesitate to buy this when requiring a lock for a new gate.£27 may look expensive but the padlock works in all weather without issue. And the hasp is made of hardened steel so can withstand some level of attack.Basically you get what you pay for. And in this case it’s excellent value for money.Includes fixings and some plates to increase security when fitted to wood. Fit and forget.

Bought as a replacement for a security hasp that burglars cut through like a hot knife through butter.This one was chosen as a more secure option and hopefully the section that is exposed to attack is sufficiently hard enough to resist bolt croppers and a saw without the thief making a ton of noise that would alert us to his presence in the meantime.It's reasonable easy enough to attach but I would like to see anti tamper coach bolts used THROUGHOUT rather than on just one or two fittings (which to be fair still suffice)

It looks strong and should work as a deterrent hopefully

Seems very well made and sturdy construction especially the hasp .Arrived very quickly by Royal Mail.My only gripes are the gap between the fixings is only about 1 cm and the bolts supplied are only 50 mm long.If the gap was bigger and the bolts longer this item would be suitable for fixing to heavier doors and therefore suitable for different applications,but recommend for lighter uses such as sheds.

Staple very good, Hasp length could do with being slightly longer for use on shed wooden door, as plate ( supplied ) for back of door for coach bolt nut, when fitted through horizontal brace over hangs end, so could not use, had to use small washer. Do Kasp make a longer Hasp to fit Disc Padlock Staples? Lock and fittings quality very good.

It is a solid lock, the screw and bolts are good, their heads are well protected, but you have to keep the lock well oiled otherwise it will rust very quickly.

Its a hasp and padlock - what can I really say? It works and it is shiny

Bought this for our new garden shed, a good solid padlock, would definitely recommend this item.
