Nice and solid
This fitting is MUCH better than I expected to receive. It's solidly built with a great design, no leaky areas and a good solid feel to it.I like getting things that turn out better than expected.

Its an odd shapred Y-pipe: What can I say? It works how it should
Such an odd shaped item, but when you need that odd-shaped pipe... you cannot go around it (not can you find it half the time). This has performed well, having one 8 inch duct fan pulling on two smaller 6 in versions, which creates a nice pull of air from basement to attic. Having this piece allows the connection to be made completely under the floors, which is better than having duct sticking out of the floor.It has an odd set of angle, but it still works well. You need to have both sides connected to fans if using to pull from the 6 inch ends. If only using one, the suction is too low and it will not pull very well from the 8 inch. In a push setup, it is possible that it would work better but I did not want to redo the entire thing to try it. I just installed how it was needed, and it worked well. No leaks, and minimal tape used to ensure that leaks to not begin (b/c that would dramatically reduce suction).

The price was only $6. I could put a directional fan in it, and needed a 8x6 adapter, which I had. Good quality. Bot 3 more because they were still $6. But later I saw the price change to $9, $16, $29, and $43. Now they are $32
