I bought this on a whim on Black Friday because my previous speaker wasn't charging anymore. I'm so glad I did. I was shocked by how loud it could play, I even use it at work in a noisy kitchen sometimes. Love that the sound can be adjusted exactly how you want it via the app, too. Want it to amplify voices? You got it. More bass? Sure! Love it.I've even dropped it by accident a few times (re: kitchen) and no problems except to wipe something off of it which is also easy when you don't have to be afraid of it getting a little wet.And honestly can't review this without speaking about the battery life. Just as an example I worked an 8hr night shift with this playing the whole time and it was still 50% battery when I got home. (As someone reading the reviews I might have also noticed that might lead you to think that 20hr battery life is nonsense but the speaker plays for 3-4hrs after it says it needs charging). It doesn't take too long for it to be fully charged, either. Brilliant!

I got this for £100 on the Black Friday sale. I replaced my speaker system with this after it broke down. It takes up very little space and portable when need be - which is exactly what I need.I don't worry about throwing it in the bag - it's durable and I never ran out of battery (for my casual use) good enough for me. It is loud enough to be used in pubs/loud environments when my phone speakers fail.However, It is quite heavy and big though so may not be the most portable solution you're looking for. I would double-check the weight and the dimensions. I was surprised when I first held it in my hands.

I bought this for my 15 year old son to use with his Spotify account (I bought that too). Sound quality is excellent for a speaker of this size, zero distortion & a pleasant bass (not over bearing) and a good volume level. Battery life is genuinely amazing, we took it on holiday & played it by the pool for hours, then into the evening at the BBQ & it still had plenty left for the next day. It's a perfect size too, it strikes the right balance between portability and sound quality. Bigger louder speakers are available, but battery life isn't as good. We're all really pleased with this purchase.

I bought this product whilst it was on offer and I have no regrets. It's good a very good sound quality as well as an amazing volume and long lasting battery life. Would recommend this product as it is a steal at such a low price. It is my second UE boom. My first being the smaller newer version, which was a bit underwhelming with a short battery life and rattley bass, but this product is seamlessly better even though it is larger than the base model.

Love this speaker - long time UE user & fan - this is the first time I’ve gone up the range from Boom to MegaBoom & I’ve not been disappointed, it’s a little bigger than I’d like, but was expecting it to be larger than the Boom, assuming the size helps with bass.

Best Bluetooth speaker without doubt. Sounds unbelievably good, good bass and never distorts.Battery will do 8 hours easy. Bulletproof (maybe not literally) construction, dropped in a bucket of paint, fished out washed and dried, not a problem.

Absolutely delighted with this and what a bargain!!!I checked back at some old reviews from WhatHiFi and yes indeed it really did retail at £250 when it was first released - AND IT SHOWS!Great all round sound, easy connectivity, some great remote functions as well once you do the firmware update.May lack a bit of bass but at this size that is no surprise. Acoustics improve if you stick it in a corner as well.

Sin duda el mejor de los altavoces portatil que he tenido hasta ahora calidad precio... compre el megaboom en oferta por 89€ pues otro que compre de otra marca había petado después de 1 mes y medio... me ha impresionado gratamente hay una gran diferencia tanto de calidad de sonido como potencia...sin contar que la batería me ha durado 3 días usándolo muchísimo a diferentes volúmenes...recomendable 100% nada que ver con otros altavoces (de conocidas marcas!) Lo de la protección, la verdad no lo voy a meter en la piscina ni con agua directa en la ducha, pero lo uso para ello y vapor va a recibir. Aún es pronto para saber la durabilidad, editare resultados más adelante, pero se ve de buena calidad en materiales y robusto. Otro plus es la aplicación para actualizarlo a tu gusto y controlar volumen junto con la posibilidad de poner una alarma.

Die UE Megaboom ist generell eine Anschaffung Wert. Ob im Bad , in der Küche, im Wohnzimmer, auf der Terasse oder im Garten/ Park ist die UE Megaboom der perfekte Musikmacher. Der stolze Preis den die Bluetooth-Box verlangt ist aber auch an Ihre Leistung angepasst. Die Box hat zunächst eine relativ hohe Laufzeit und kann auch problemlos mit einer Powerbank wieder aufgeladen werden. Außerdem kann man immer noch auch über Aux-Anschluss Musik anschließen. Die abgespielte Musik , egal ob mit Bluetooth oder Aux kann sehr Laut gestellt werden aber bietet trotzdem dauerhaft einen guten Klang. Des Weiteren ist die Box koppelbar mit weiteren UE Boxen, dabei ist es egal welche UE Box ,über die App, gekoppelt werden soll. Somit kann man auch Problemlos an mehreren Orten die gleiche Musik hören. Die UE Megaboom bietet aber nicht nur ein tolles Musikerlebnis, sonder ist auch sehr robust. Sie kann Problemlos auch einem Sturz, einem Beschuss mit einem Fußball (eigene Erfahrung) oder Wasser (bisher nur Spritzwasser getestet) standhalten. Folglich ist die UE Megaboom oder generell jegliche UE Box einen Kauf wert.

I brought this as a gift for my father for Christmas. The package arrived quickly and was well packaged. The sound quality on the speak is great for the price range and is loud enough to be used comfortably in a workshop and still hear the music clearly. Would definitely recommend and buy another

Que dire et bien après avoir essayer plusieurs marques en magasin et avoir soûler le magasin entier et bien j'ai choisis cette petit bombe!le son est superbe, propre, sans réel bavures, les voix clairs, qui d'ailleurs diffusent dans toute une pièces. C'est beau.Les aigus sont contenu et pas du tout agressif, heureusement je ne supporte pas ce phénomène.Les basses, ah les basses souvent le sujet qui fâche ou divise sur un produit : N'oublions pas que ce sont de petites enceintes portables, déjà.Les basses sont là, parfois percutantes sur certains morceaux, elles sont propres. Elles sont d'une bonnes justesses. Mais il y a un mais,elles ne diffuses pas dans une pièces. Elles restes à l’intérieur de l'enceintes, et cela aurait pu vraiment me gêner ou manquer, car j'adore les basses. J'ai un syteme 2.0 avec platine disque, enceintes monitor audio, ampli Nad etc..Ca envoie du lourd niveau basses.Au bout du compte, je me suis mis dans la tete que c'etait un petit systeme portable, qui ne pouvait pas envoyer, diffuser des basses commeun système audio " classique". Mais vous ne serez pas déçu, car encore une foi la basse est là, c'est marrant parfois j'ai l'impression d’entendrele batteur qui tape sur ca batterie, comme ci on était un studio. C'est juste, propore, parfois fort, mais non diffusé. Normalk pourl une mini enceinte.Par ailleurs, je me suis habitué pendant des années à un son avec beaucoup de basses, batteries. Il faut juste apprécié ce son qui au niveaudes basses est différents, d'une belle justesse, et qui percute de l'interieur. Il faut réhabitué l'oreille à des basses qui ne font pas trembler les murs.En fait un son moderne, mono, avec quelque sonorité du passé,qui régale sur certains titres. J'adore Ma Super Megaboom tout simplementvous ne serez pas déçu, je me régale, je me demande encore comment ils ont fait pour mettre autant de puissance dans un tout petit cylindre!Je me suis aussi acheté la wonderboom pour mettre sur ma trott électrique, elle est terrible cette petite enceinte!
