PROS:This lotion is extremely moisturizing and leaves my skin feel great for a long time. It has great lasting power. I love the scent, though I can see where some that prefer a lighter scent may not enjoy this one. I enjoy woodsy, natural scents & this is a blend of that with maybe a light floral scent (not overpowering/ sweet).CONS:This lotion is extremely hard to get out of the bottle once you get about a 1/3 of the product gone. While I do understand some complaints about this; I actually do not view this as a negative aspect of the product. The lotion is thick because of the ingredients & I feel lends to how well this product stays on the skin and retains moisture. My suggestion is to either remove the product & put it in a lidded jar or reuse another lidded tub from another product you might have used. OR, add some plain oil to help loosen the lotion a bit. I have all natural almond massage oil & added about 2-3 Tablespoons directly into my lotion bottle & shook vigorously. It comes out much easier now.

I adore this lotion. It's actually more of a body cream because it's so thick. It is hard to get out of the bottle, so I squeeze it into a container with a lid. I'm extremely thrifty, so I also cut the bottle with scissors when it gets to the bottom so I can scoop out every bit. The scent is light. Nothing artificial. I am allergic to most artificial scents so I love this one. It deeply moisturizes my skin and leaves no residue. Very very creamy.

I don't agree with the reviewers that said this doesn't blend into my skin well. I have never had a problem. I do agree that the bottle is lousy packaging. I empty the bottle into an old, cleaned, small peanut butter jar. That way, I can easily get the lotion out in the amount I need each day. The lotion is very thick, but it blends easily into my skin. I love the mild scent and it makes my skin stay soft all day.

My favorite moisturizer!! I have been using Shea Moisture lotion for more than 5 years. I have used their brightening lotion with mushroom. It was amazing! The scent is subtle and smooth in nicely.Their Coconut lotion is thick in consistency and scent wonderful, not so subtle but not powerful either. I wish Shea Moisture would place their lotion in a jar since a pump would only get clogged because it is super thick! I had to put a little distilled water to thin it out. My husband often use it to massage my feet every night. The bottle last me for at least 3 months as I used it every few days since I use coconut oil or olive oil to moisturize after a shower too. Overall, I love this creamy lotion.

It’s really clean. No additives. Naturally smells of coconut. I fill a travel jar to scoop it out of and slather it on after showering. Absorbs well. Did I mention it’s got no bad stuff in it? I could use it on a baby!

Way to thick. Can't squeeze the bottle enough to get it out and it is a pouring top to the bottle. No pump. You have to scrap it out. Doesn't absorb into the skin very well at all. Stays on the "top" of your skin and feels slimy.

You have to undo the top and squeeze out what you want. The bottle is not flexible, so you are getting quite a hand work out. Finally, when you get to using it, it starts to flake. I will never purchase this again.

It’s very thick, so I store the bottle upside down. Otherwise, it would be too frustrating to use. On the upside, it works like a charm. It literally takes 10 years off your hands, as it makes your skin supple and soft. I highly recommend giving this a try. It also makes a great gift, because everyone that uses it wants a bottle for themself. The smell is mellow and nice.
