This was a replacement within Amazon 30 return warranty window. It was a gift to my grandchildren as stated before. Unfortunately, one of the LED lamps became defective. Others posting here appear to have had similar problem. National Geographic may want to improve on QA for this otherwise well designed microscope!Amazon handled warranty return of product flawlessly. Original cost promptly refunded. However, having to pay an inflated price for exact replacement under 30 day warranty to Amazon appears to be daylight robbery to me! Whereas original cost with tx CDN $73.44. Replacement unit billed for CDN$112.99 with Tx.
