Great stuff and easy to use
Amazing stuff. I have been using this for years after a quick wire brushing for stopping metal from rusting, even when splashed by salt water. I have sprayed my boat trailer parts and areas of the undercarriage of my truck. Use often after spraying down with a garden hose (let dry), if you boat in salt water. Also holds well on cleaned aluminum as a matte spray-paint.

Fantastic Rust Converter Primer!
Fantastic primer, I applied it over rust on my 20 year old trailer, did not wire brush or other prep, followed with Rustoleum spray can top coat. Like new!! Been several months now, still shiny and new looking, even though it sits out in all weather. Amazing product. Would give it 10 stars if I could.

It works and a year later after a salty winter roads rust has not returned. Well worth the effort.
This product really works if you follow directions and 24 hours use a good brand spray paint over it to seal out moisture.I Use it on rust on truck frame to slow and stop rust. works as described. remove all loose rust then spray Rust reformed wait 24 hours top coat with black spray paint. Usually keeps rust from spreading. I touch up areas that do rust through after a year or so but it really does minimize its growth. 5 cans usually will cover average frame. Use a good mask save you lungs. **********UPDATE March 2017***************I have used this product on other rusted chassis past few years........ If you follow instruction spray rust wait 24 hrs then over paint. After a year my truck which I sprayed last March.and using it all winter. No rust has come through my truck, a few little chips but thats it. It remains solid black and rust free. This spring I will power wash chassis touch up any small areas and repaint the chassis again to insure it remains that way. If air cant get to treated rust it cant start again. I also did my daughters car 2 years ago which had a lot of surface rust when she bought it used. I did same thing and now after 2 winters and me not retreating it, I was surprised to see after 2 winters only some rust has come through but nothing compared to what shape it was in. I use this product every spring to keep my older cars that drive in an area that salts the roads in the winter frequently and for the hour or so it takes me to recoat and repaint and the 35.00 it costs me between this product and GOOD BRAND black spray paint to top coat. To keep rust at bay. Its well worth it+++++++++Sept 2018=== still holds out keeping rust away. I just ordered another 6 cans to do a 05 Mercury Mariner. I just bough I have the start of very Minimal surface rust so I brushed and with air pressure to blow clean. Took off each wheel all exposed metal then down under rocker panels rear wheels. Tomorrow I will top coat with paint. Its a lot of work but once it covered I know it works. I do power wash road salt on my trucks and cars coming in after a snow and they are garage kept. I do get very minimal specs of rust that will appear after a long winter. I just hit them quick then respray with paint. But nothing compared to the whole chassis .If you car fully over taken with deep rust this may slow it but the cancer has set in deep when its that bad.

Effective, but Coverage Could Be Better
The Rust-Oleum Rust Reform spray does a great job of converting rust and preventing further damage. It’s easy to apply, dries quickly, and provides a solid layer of protection against corrosion. The formula works as advertised, helping to restore and protect surfaces from rust. The only downside is that the coverage isn’t as broad as I’d like, so you may need to apply multiple coats for larger areas. If you’re dealing with rust and need a reliable solution, this spray works well—but plan on using a bit more for full coverage!

Dries fast and protects!
I love how fast this paint dries, it seems to bond to pretty much anything and has no issues. It dries to a Matte finish. It seems to hold back the rust well and even prevent rust from forming. I’d definitely recommend having a can on hand for when you need it!

A Paint You Can Trust
This will work well on an old metal table. I haven’t prepped the table yet but have always used this brand and am confident about the results!

I did a painting job using those cans! 👍👍💪🏼💪🏼
That chemical not only covered off and cured the rust for good, but also lay nice on the prepared surface. 👍👍👍I did paint my hood. It has a nice looking and smooth surface. It took 4 cans 🤷🏻♀️ for the minivan's hood to paint it. I don't know how long the paint job will last, but it's been more than two month already and still looking great. Maybe I will do a clear coat later, but I'm not sure of an identical base with a clear coat. You may say "The guy is crazy to do such a paint job, but it is cold outside 🤷🏻♀️ and normal paint is very smelly. So, I did use that method and my neighbors never complained 😂😂😂👍👍👍Also, I tried to use it on a HEAVY rusted surface without cleaning it at all. Sure the surface IS ruff, but still stayed the same way for more than two month and did not peel off yet. Still observing it.Cone: price is high. I do not mention the seller, but just everywhere. Will bye it again anyway 😂😂😂 to finish off to paint the whole car. I have the original $350/gal, but will save it for another car and other environment.

Kills rust great!
Sprayed on an old metal shelf unit that had considerable rust. I wire brushed the big flakes off first but that all. Sprayed it on and it's rust free. Painted over it with some white latex paint I had sitting around and it looks great in my garage.
