Sweet Potato & Three Bean Chili has a very good flavor and texture. It has a natural taste that I find very appealing. It doesnt have that slightly odd shelf stable flavor that some prefab meals have. For that I am preally impressed and which is why I bump it to 5 stars (otherwise 4 stars). I really like that the base is primarily rice, but I think that there could be a few more beans. The flavors are balanced. Not strongly flavored, so some may be disappointed if looking for a stronger chili taste. Sweet potato isn't noticeable; I think it blends in with the rest of the flavor profile. I often work with pureed sweet potato by adding it anything and everything for added nutrition and low key flavor. So I am not surprised that it isn't a stand out flavor.I like that it is not soupy, yet has enough of a saucy vibe that it provides a good mouth feel.Cooks quickly, easily. It is basically ready to go. If you dont have (or dont want to use) a microwave, then pop it out of container and cook in a pan to heat it up. Could eat it cold if need be. It is a shelf stable ready to go food that would make an excellent addition to an emergency pantry. Also great for camping, hiking, stashing at the office or car. Not a hugely long term storage item, but I would (and likely will) keep these on hand for anytime use.Portion is good, though how much it fills your belly depends on you. I am a big eater, so this is best for me as a lunch/brunch item. Could easily be stretched by adding something into it, or by having a side of chips, bread, protein etc.I have had other products by Wicked, and I have pretty much liked them all. But this one is my fave, I think.I dont rate on price, but if you can get it on full subscribe and save, or on sale, the price is much more reasonable. I probably wouldnt buy it at full price.

Recently went plant based diet. Overall, the chili is good. For me it runs a little more on the bland side than spicy. I usually add some fresh onions, a few slices fresh jalapenos, and some hot sauce. My only complaint is that the high sodium level for its serving size.Will definitely purchase again.

when i ordered this chili, I never saw what it was made of or how it was made- vegetarian or whatever... When I had my first one I tore off the plastic and was a little disappointed there was rice there... I stirred it a bit and tasted it and my eyes opened all wide like an epiphany was formed!! This tastes just as good as homemade chili, only missing the meat--- but tell you what, with this chili, I didn't mind all that much. This stuff is fantastic and will be buying many more times (3 cases in so far :)

First of all, this isn't chili. It's over 50% rice. Not really much flavor either.

I like the product but the portions are too small and the price is WAY too HIGH. I am not likely to ever buy this again unless the price comes WAY down.

smells horrible and I can not keep one down. gave to the food pantry for the homeless.

These are so good! I bought these to take to work for lunch, but before the weekend was over I was down to only two out of the entire pack because I had eaten the rest of them over the weekend. If you like spicy chili like I do, I recommend Frank's Red Hot. It goes so good with this chili.
