My photos show my on the small side 3 year old and my big ish 11 month old wearing it. The body might fit my 3 year old for another year or two but the hood / face hole is pretty small and I can't see that being comfortable for much longer...The quality seems to be pretty good, nice soft fabric and well stitched. But that is what I'd expect for the price. It is all polyester so my 3 year old does get quite hot running around in it. But that's why a sleeveless top design is good! My only disappointment is that the mane isn't as fluffy as it appears in the first picture (on the boy). Must mention though that the product is much darker in appearance (more of a chocolate brown than a golden lion colour) than appears in the Amazon image. The image also appears to show a velour type lustre to the fur but there is none on the product, it is quite matt and doesn't really have a fur affect all over the body. My wife said it looks a bit like a monkey costume but we were still really happy as it was animal day at school so it didn't really matter. The other thing I thought was great was the honesty and thoughtfulness of the supplier. We had bought both at the same time and the supplier was really great and packed both costumes for us in one package and refunded us our postage and sent me a message to let me know exactly as to when he had posted it and that we would get our postage refunded. You dont get that kind of honesty and service anymore these days. Delivery was fast and the quality of the costumes are fantastic, especially the lion. Its the best costume I have bought ever. Made my 4 year old a very happy lion! Since this is effectively just a thin sleeveless jacket , it is easy to put on and take off and doesn't get too hot like a full body suit. I noticed some reviewers mention that they received a much darker shade of brown but mine arrived exactly in the same shade as the picture. The hood fits neatly and there is a tiny tail at the back too.
