Omg. This is the best thing I have ever got for my puppies I have two puppies who pull like no one's business when we go for a walk. I was at the end of my tether with walking I had tried everything. Then I came across this I was a little sceptical but I bought one to try to see if it works and my god it is amazing so much so I've bought another for my other pup. No more pulling on dog walks and I can actually enjoy my walks now. Highly recommend this.

It’s great! Would love it more if the muzzle loop was just a cm longer but as it is it still works brilliantly. My 13 month Mastiff puppy, who’s the size of a small pony, can’t pull and got used to it within 20 minutes. Walking is so much easier and safer as puppies tend to get excited and forget themselves and she’s now physically stronger than me. She has a beautiful nature and now we can walk safely no matter what exciting things we see on our adventures!!

Really pleased with this product. My dog didn't mind having it on at all. She pawed at it once the very first time it was on and once more after I washed it and it shrunk a little so was a bit tight (ooops!), but it did relax again back to normal size after a short time!I paired it with lots of treats to get positioning right while on walks and it's made them an absolute joy. I was getting quite severe shoulder pain from pulling before I used this. My dog will walk to heal, but only for a short time and then I'd lose connection with her and she'd yank at the end of the lead. This corrected the issue as I had hoped.The instructions are endearing, if a little old fashioned. I did find it tricky to put on as the nose loop will always slip when it is not worn so you have to fiddle with it slightly to position it correctly before putting it on. The plastic clip seemed sturdy for what it is.I also bought a separate safety attachment as it didn't come with one, just to be safe rather than sorry.I've used it for a month now, but have decided to upgrade to a Halti, but the one with the separate loop around the nose and one underneath that tightens with pressure rather than the one with the same design as this. My concern with this one was that, although it didn't ride up into my girl's eyes when I had it correctly fitted, the loop would move slightly around her face if she was on one side of me for a while and that did bring it closer to her eye than I was happy with. I went for a head collar with more structure as a result.Having said that, the first time I used the new collar I attached the lead to the wrong bit and so there was no pressure on the head collar and she walked beautifully because she was used to wearing this one and walking so nicely!Overall I am really happy and it is very good value, especially as a way to check your dog will respond well without spending a lot. It made a big difference to walks, but does need to be paired with training in my opinion.

I had seen someone recommend this product on another forum and decided to give it a try as I’ve tried various harness type products over the years with little success.I have a Belgian Malinois, 4 year old he is very strong on the lead and would chase a leaf blowing in the wind taking me with him.The first couple of times I used this product (started about 2 weeks ago) he looked uncomfortable so we just did very short walks and I would take it straight off. He then wore it at home for a few days without going out and I let him get used to it. He sulked and pretty much hid in his crate the whole time.Then we’ve started taking longer walks, leading up to today when we walked 8 miles without any fuss at all. He walked perfectly and when he saw things he would have previously chased (ducks, squirrels, leaves, bees) he didn’t really bat an eyelid.I bought a double ended lead and started off by clipping the other end to his collar just in case the harness came loose but it does look and feel secure, so have since used the lead to clip around my waist so I can walk hands free, I’m sure this has helped to reduce our stress levels too. I can make a lot more fuss over him as he’s not dragging me in front of cars and I’m not on edge all the time.I know it’s all trial and error, some products work better than others it depends on the dog and the owner but this definitely worked for me and for the first time in 4 years am actually looking forward to taking him out for walks.

Not very effective, went on to buy the halti

I could no longer hold my 10 month labrador with a harness. The minute she has the halter on she stops pulling. She walks on a loose lead and lets me stop to talk to people without pulling. She can still sniff about and pick up sticks while wearing it.. I cannot believe what a difference it has made. Two of my neighbours have been so impressed when we have met them that they plan to get a Gentle Leader too.

Bought this for my 29kg puppy and it’s made him so much easier to walk. No more being dragged along by an excited puppy. He rubbed his nose a lot on the first walk but by the end of his second walk he had accepted it. Brilliant fit so he can still open his mouth and it fits perfectly. 10/10!!

So I bought this this for my 2 year old male bull mastiff x Dogue du Bordeaux so he is a big boy!!! Really happy-walking him was a nightmare as I'm only 5ft and weigh about 8st!!! Got to a point where we thought we would have to re-home our baby as our garden in our in new house is tiny and I couldn't walk him on the leash- this has literally been a life saver!!!! The only thing I would complain about is the clip under his neck which tighens his muzzle it already appears to be coming loose- so I already have another one in the basket just in case xxx I would definitely give it a try if you have a dog that walks you instead of the other way round - it has been amazing actually enjoying taking my big dog for a walk!!!!

I can finally walk my dog with out having to worry about what is going to happen this time when I take her for a walk

We bought this to train and walk our mini golden doodle puppy since she was 4 months old, this is very gentle which gives her a lot of room to open her mouth eat or drink, but it also keeps her calm and accurately send her the message of where we want her to go but turning her head with it. Very happy with this product, it’s safe to our baby yet very effective

after getting used to it being on her muzzle, she walked perfectly without pulling, & there was a lot of slack in the leash

My dog didn't miraculously stop pulling but he is way more manageable when he pulls because he cannot put his weight into the pull like when wearing a collar or a harness.
