Our winter kit at Waterfanatics is designed for pools that hold up to 45000litres of water knowing you need to drain your swimming pool below the skimmer. This allows for our treatment which effectivly treats 33000litres for 6months. With any Swimming Pool Winter Shut Down it is best to shock the pool the day before to kill any bacteria or algae in the water making our algicide work to best effect when you close the pool down the next day. By using both chemicals at the same time the shock overpowers the algicide meaning the algicide will not work over the winter and most probably a green pool in the spring.
