My 2012 Macbook Pro battery was 6 years old and needed replacing, but I didn't want to pay $150 or however much the Apple store would charge me. I ordered this one from Amazon and hoped for the best. It came with the screwdrivers I needed to open up the back of the laptop and remove and replace the battery. Very simple process. I wanted to wait a few months before writing the review to make sure the battery life held up and I had no issues, and happy to report that the laptop works great! It holds its charge, good as new, for a fraction of the price. Very happy with the purchase.

I bought this battery for my Mac after I realized my Macs battery was bad at the apple store. Apple store quoted me $125.00 for a battery replacement which was way more than this battery. After installing this battery my Mac book pro fired up immediately and I now have an extended battery life of 2 hours over the original battery when brand new. Best upgrade i've done besides increasing ram and switching to ssd.

I would like to share my honest experience with RayHom for helping others to decide which is the best option to buy.I would highly recommend RayHom Products for their exact fit and no problem installation.I assure you that if any problem during the installation? The problem is probably from the installer and NOT with the products. So,I recommend to carefully plan and check everything you need during installation. I would say that if you are unsure to perform the job is it better to seek a professional help that might help you for proper installation. One thing you have to avoid is overtightining the screws. If possible buy a set of screws you can buy it on Amazon also. I had installed my RayHom laptop battery on 05/16/18 and at present the time 07/21/18 two months past is still my daughter laptop is running well. She is using it 10 hours with 25% more of use left. I and my daughter are very please with the product performance and for sure will buy it again and will recommend it with family and friends and as well with you. Purchased this battery to replace my original battery. I've had it installed now for about four months and I'm very impressed! I'm getting at least 7-8 hours of use on a full charge! I don't think I got that much run-time from the original battery. It may be in part due to the fact that I replaced the original hard drive with a Samsung SSD drive... but I'm very satisfied. Nice that they include tools too! I was afraid that the battery monitor wouldn't work properly with an aftermarket battery, but everything works great. If you need a battery for an old MacBook, buy this!

I've had this battery installed in my MacBook Pro for about 9 months. It was easily identifiable as the correct battery in the description and it was easy to install. Everything needed was included and instructions were adequately supplemented by YouTube videos and installation was relatively easy. I powered up my MacBook and it ran fine. I went through the charging/discharging process to calibrate the battery and all seemed well. It works fine, but the charge does not lasts as long as the original. I get about 4 hours of use between charges. I have been in contact with the manufacturer and the customer service is excellent. They were willing to do whatever need to make me happy. They truly stand behind the warranty. Base on the form, fit and function, and the excellent customer service I've given a 4 star.

Visually, this battery is identical to the factory piece and installs easily. The included case screws fit correctly and come prepped with thread locker - a nice touch. This repair kit does include a pair of surprisingly well-made screwdrivers; a small Phillips head, and a tri-wing.You will need to carefully bend the four connector wires on the bottom of the battery so that it settles flat in the case. An obvious thing, and identical to the original battery, but I'm always reluctant to modify repair parts even this much. The screwdrivers were nice, but they're single use. Even high-quality tools wear down with use and I would expect these to wear out quickly. No problem, since it was nice to have nice, sharp screwdriver blades to work with.

I received the product in nicely sealed box and upon opening found exact product as mentioned don the website. The screwdriver set provided with battery really help as you can install battery yourself, without going to any store. Initially battery took long time to charge, but after that it working fine. On normal usage i am getting battery life of 4+ hours and which is beyond my expectation, as earlier product i bought were giving me just 2 hours of battery life. In addition, the 12month warranty is icing on the cake.I strongly recommend this product, so for looks good with give battery life.

As ever - buyer beware. Poor product description by vendor means that no screws are included. Battery itself is fine. Queried with the vendor, received a random response that screwdrivers are not included (which, bizarrely, were included).
